lets stick to human written books please. it gives us mere mortals a chance to compete. :D

i agree don't every thread go to drain with religun and country. there is some thing else in world without muslim hindu and india pakistan:)

3. BaJang Aamad by Colonel Muhammad Khan.
4. Chicken Soup for the Soul collections.
5. By Way of Deception by Victor Ostrovsky.

i have read 'the alchemist'. didnt like it much. probably it needs one to think more than i am willing to :P

i havnt heard of books 2,3 and 5. could you tell us something about them?

dont u find dickens too tragic? i tried reading david cooperfield but could not stand the number of tragedies in his life. never touched another charles dickens book again
i too tried to read david copperfield but ended up putting it back..but A Tale of two Cities is a very good book..the beginning is fabulous!

i dont know ur taste..i told u i too found copperfield so boring but this one is good..a hint..the setting is of french revolution..
