LOL, now that's a tough one. Even our vegi dishes (sabzi) contain some amount of meat in it.

i am a vegetarian by birth.........it is a religious choice ,,, i am a hindu brahmin....vegetarian is encouraged in hinduism because our law of ahimsa (non-voilence) is aplicable to animals also.....
vegetarianism is only encouraged but not strictly imposed ....about 40% of hindus are vegetation ....so with about 400 million vegetarian (more then twice the population of our neighbour pakistan) India is the land of most number of vegetarian in the world......
