you and your delusions. Britain never had more than 30k people in the subcontinent at anyone one time.He was wrong when he says India didn't fight for freedom, India getting independence through nonviolence is a myth propagated by Congress to hide their lack of efforts in India's freedom movement.
How the militant aspect of India’s freedom struggle was sidelined
Arjun Subramaniam writes: A recent film, Udham Singh, highlights how the role of violent acts of defiance was diminished by overplaying the impact of the non-violent movement. This only served British interestswww.google.com
it was the people of the subcontinent who put down any rare mutiny. heck even the fabled Afghan victories against the UK are nothing but myths.
even when it looked as if afghanisatan was an independent country, it was not. its foreign policy was dictated by the Crown. it also served as a bulwark against the Tsarist ambitions to reach gwadar.
the onliest place that got freedom thru a fight was GB, even that was a fight against the dogra singhs, and it was led by a Briton.
I was gonna use that there thread to do a bit of venting and myth-busting
