What's new

Whatever

Why the hate, Ocean??

And I believe that despite the first reporter's question a greater percentage of Indian Muslim women are in burqa than in Pakistan and definitely in Bangladesh. The poison spread by the Tableeghi Jamaat has sunk in too deep among Indian Muslims.

And what is this obsession with tribalism and racialism??

I don't care about my ancestry. I think I am reasonably intelligent because of what nature made me and what I was able to learn by myself.

what say you , @Levina @Zibago @django @Mentee
@Moonlight @Well.wisher @padamchen @Nilgiri
@Bilal9

I made a hindu friend... hes a chawla, but claims to be rajput... are chawlas rajput? google says no?

One day our descendants will think it incredible that we paid so much attention to things like the amount of melanin in our skin or the shape of our eyes or our gender instead of the unique identities of each of us as complex human beings. ~ Franklin Thomas

Racial superiority is a mere pigment of the imagination. ~ Unknown

Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. ~ Ben Johnson

The last one is my most favorite quote - because it is so valid and apropos in today's America, and in various trouble spots around the world...it is a drug mix that the powerful, crafty and wealthy use (along with the formula of ancestral superiority) to goad gullible sheep into doing their bidding and fighting their dirty proxy wars.

You make a good point and the quotes are true indeed.

Also, the late quote is a favorite of mine too because it relates to the current debate in India as to what is national and what is anti-national.

The wikipedia entry for the Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla says her birth place is Ambala - Haryana, which makes her a Jat or Punjabi I think.

@padamchen or @ranjeet can confirm.

Padamchen does not confirm anything for low class turds who do not know their station in life.

Please do not pull me into conversations with crotch scratching soorma and jaali topi wearing bisti mohalla types.

Cheers, Doc

Being humble is the epitome of being human.

One should not think of oneself as being superior to others. Scratching your nuts being excluded.

If I have to put down others to feel better about myself - then I've got far bigger issues to sort out.

Hating on Bisti Mohalla is not the solution, showing them how to be better in terms of education and open outlook, however is...

Please pardon my feeling preachy today - I'm quite the assh*le myself. But we all have our flaws.

That is speculation by foreigners from afar, the fact is they have been in the Indus region for millenia. Kudos Doc

There is a lot of doubt about that. It is the most commonly accepted view that they are descended from one of the waves of invaders after the Greeks,waves that never ended actually.

@padamchen

Indians pakistani obsession never ceases to exist

So some indian chillar shillar won some miss world title and except social media where pakistanis commented on it for 0.0004 seconds and moved on ,it never became a part of our channels national discussion but here a reporter cant stop himself from asking her about pakistan. ROFL

It was so BRAVE of you to resist temptation, and not to talk about her.

Admirable.

It is a commonplace that for some, their 'tribes' take over from their caste.

I have a friend in Bisti Mohalla, which is why I throw the name about so often here.

He is called Tiger Bhai ....

Very colorful guy. Very colorful habits. He'd put some of the specimens here under his nuts and keep them there. Warm and cosy.

Cheers, Doc

Well, come to think of it, @django isn't far off the mark.

The Jats have been around here for around two millennia now. So one could be excused for thinking of them as native to the place.

We've been around for more than a millennium ourselves.

Cheers, Doc

Thank you for not threatening to make me walk the plank back to Iran.

We've developed a taste for Indian food and women. As I'm sure have the rest (old timers, those who came in before) to ours.

Cheers, Doc
