What's new

What will BAL do once Haseena is no more?

I figure both will be in very important positions. I agree about Qader but Taposh being Dhaka Mayor is also better than a cabinet minister post. Well let's see what happens.

Qader is the traditional low class gunda variety. He will be good for low class shit politics in BD against the opponent but not good enough to determine the long term policy of a developing nation. For that you need someone highly educated.

I suspect Nurul Haq Nur, the former DAKSU VP will be the PM of the nation one day. Stress on "one day", not sure though when. But he will be good if he comes to power.

Hmmm - wasn't he arrested or something?

In some cultures, maids and servants are buried alive with the noble.

Hasina is afterall a noble woman.

@The Ronin would volunteer selflessly as well.
All the shameless BAL fans should bury themselves alive with the dead Haseena. I wonder what happens to their ill-gotten money, wealth, and properties when buried. Evil money has made them too high-nosed!!

How about a new law that permits their wealth to decorate their smelly graves.

Or a law that they be buried underneath paper money?

Or gold found on them be melted and poured on them as death masks?
I think he is free now. He is (in my eyes) giving Sheikh Mujib vibes. Long struggle, lot of suffering, then you win.
Then they slaughter you and your whole fam.

That happened during a communist insurgency..

Besides, Mujeeb already completed what he set out to do.. died a successful man.

You lot should ponder about what you let happen to your zinnah's wife... Poor lady.

Why don't you grasp the gravity of the reality of having a power vacuum in midst of a cold war?

Do you want me to restart your counter?

Hasina and Mujib both are political brands which will be used by the ruling establishment to rule Bangladesh for years to come. We have similar Bhutto toxic brand in Pakistan and Indians have Gandhi. It is very sad that half educated journalists and pseudo-intellectual class never write about it. The cheap smartphone Facebook born generation is a tragedy for any nation.

Hasina jibito thakte hobe na. After all nur holo hasina ke kodombusi kora lok.

As long as Hasina is alive and in power, we are in safe hands. At least the rajakar variety won't take over. Death of Hasina will be an end of an era. We Bengalis from time to time created some great leaders. I hope when Hasina is no more, we get another Sheikh Mujib. We need one, badly.

According to the Bangladesh constitution, holders of dual nationality are barred from running for a government office, so Joy Wazed is definitely out of the equation (don't see them changing this, or Joy giving up his American citizenship). Most likely going to be Taposh as Bilal and others have said.

Do you think they can pull it out?

BAL is already no more. Beurocrats are controlling govt and BAL politicians are sidelined after 2018 election ( massively rigged ;some say that Beurocrats and police are responsible for this mass rigging ) . So now Hasina and beurocrats are ruling Bangladesh, although sometimes sidekicks ( BAL ministers) are messing things, like in laughable lockdown ,that only weaken the govt.

It's not only BAL , all political parties of Bangladesh is one man show. Look at Khaleda Zia, she is under control of govt and mighty BNP ( tbh BNP has more grassroot voters than BAL , so even if both party contest without any alliance BNP will win 6 times in every 10 time normally. But now BAL became for unpopular that BAL has few support nowadays.

But if BNP will launch a heavy movement, khaleda Zia will be taken care of , so BNP isn't doing any movement.

So in the end Bangladesh must get out from this one man show politically.
You seem to have insight.

How do you see such a worst case scenario happening?

BAL losing to mullahs? Civil war inside BAL? BNP coming from the grave?

Who can come to power if something dramatic happens on the streets? Is the military still around on the political arena?

Actually it's hard to say . But surely Mullahs can't win. You see already Hefajat is islami is neutralised. All are arrested other than chief Babunagori.

As long as they were co operating with govt, they were asset. I believe finally enemies succcefully used then against govt to destabilised country.Thankfully they are neutralized.

IMHO, although Hasina is pro Chinese, BAL upper level people and also beurocrats are full with pro India people and they are even strong although they are minority.

After vaccine issue I hope the pro India fraction became weak . They will try to bite again no doubt, but it's life and you can't completely annihilated such people when we are surrounded by India.

And I believe that China is also very active inside Bangladesh with it's all intelligence network and they are stronger than Indians.

So I feel safe ( most of Bangladeshi people feel the same ,I can assure you, just don't pay attention to pro Indian retards ,who are champion at spreading propaganda) for this.

Although there is no permanent ally of enemy in international relationship, still since China isn't expansionist like India so we expect no threat from China.

On the other hand, India remain as thread prior to 1971 as Pakistani identity aka East Pakistani, and after 1971 India became a deadly threat and you see what they were and still are doing with us.

Now about BNP. BNP was actually established on the dismantled NAP of Bhasani and the ideology was patriotism .

However although Ziaur Rahman created BNP , but khaleda Zia is the real life giver of BNP.

So just neutralise khaleda Zia, BNP can't disturb. Later minus Zia family from politics, BNP can be renamed with their as usual moderate Muslim ideology or bhasani.

In short BNP leadership is pro Indian contrary to popular belief ( you see they statred embassy in Taiwan, later BAL closed it), and they did it to serve India purpose.

So if you can minus or at least can control and tame pro Indians, Bangladesh will be a prosperous country.

However in order to do this , you need a national unity govt where all parties will have there political representatives, but PM will be a technocrat ( after Hasina) person.

And if you can make such govt ,then every part will be happy, since everyone is in govt hence they will be beneficial.

But if you want such govt in Bangladesh, surely it has some expense. As you can't make govt change ( after hasina( with election under a partisan govt.

So surely a movement is expected.

But whatever will happen , I hope Chinese intelligence will counter India raw inside Bangladesh secretly, as truly its an indirect war, and enemies are strong. It will serve the interest of both China and pro Bangladeshi. So win win situation for both.

And if Hefajat can be neutralised ( who were ally of govt) then pro Indians can be neutralized too, but not so fast I think. It's not easy to build a nation ( who are united) overnight.

Ps: @Paul2 , such movements may lead to create national unity govt in future.
