exactly, what reason do the millions of minorities of country have to stay loyal to pakistan if they aren't even guaranteed their basic rights.

lets discuss what a Secular pakistan might actually look like…
will we truly be secular?
will we be able tolerate a non-muslim or anybody for a matter fact saying something bad about islam or against islam?

will we ever have 100% litracy and break free from the shackles of foreign religions and interventions? not in my lifetime. anything after that is unimportant for me to discuss.

Don't think of past,think of the future which lies ahead. My suggestion,if a Secular mulk benefits the majority of Pakistanis then go for it,otherwise chapter closed. U can try for some other things. It reminds me the Chinese Proverb "A cat can be black,brown or white,it doesn't matter as long it catches mice."

Lastly Please don't try to bring India in your reply.Why are u going back to 1947

India is secular and still shitiest and poorest country in the world. Secular Pakistan mean equal rights for every citizen and Islam to be kept away from politics, nothing more.

As if Pakistan is far ahead of India.To pay loans,u beg before World Bank,IMF,Middle East.
Nawaz Sharief's recent visit to Saudi Arabia is a testimony to what I am writing.

U will be shocked to know how Pakistan pay its debts,even in LIGHT YEARS,U will won't be able to clear yr debts.

What is yr GDP,yr forex reserves.How much foregin investment does Pakistan attract every year.

Lastly the ongoing military operation in Wazirstan wil deplete yr existing meager resources.

a counrtry formed on fictitious grounds about "rights of muslims of indian sub continnet" and paranoia about hindus that was formed after millions of hindus were butcherred in east bengal & western punjab (cause they were against partitions) can never be a "secular nation" in fact muslims in genral can never live in peace with non muslims cause as per islam itself its either you are a muslim or you are a "K****" or wajub ul katal

It didn't made them any poorer, but some Pakistanis think secularism is the only reason Pakistan is still poor. I doubt Pakistan being secular would have prevented Soviets to invade Afghanistan. Or stopped Pakistan from arming Jihadis to fight against Soviets.

First of all Secularism & poverty r two different things. I would say apples & oranges

Pakistan is already broken. Your islam could not unify the nation in 1971 and before. It could not stop discrimination against bengalis who were your brothers according to Islam. What makes you think secularism will be any worse?
