What was PDF like in the early days and its future

@jbgt90 will bear me out on this, and I feel we differ fundamentally with @Joe Shearer 's read onthis in that the sanghis are actually quite ambivalent towards you guys. Of course, as with everything else in life, things are subjective.

Their venom has mainly today and during this term and always since the inception of their toxic ideology always been directed within.

If you know your history you will know their contribution to the freedom struggle. A big zero if not outright whiners and collaborators.

Trust me when I tell you that they are the mirror saffron opposites of your Islamists.

And they are trying to drive our country in the same direction.

Who are your Islamists attacking? Us? Or you?

Same equation here.

Look deeper ....

Cheers, Doc
Brilliantly put mate !!!

The old days....

The crap started with this one guy named "Neo" who flew too close to the sun.

Rest is history.

His posts are pretty much non existent now due to a database error I alluded to earlier.

Oh, this is so true. The Sanghi shits his pants if he meets what he thinks is opposition, so he picks on all the Indian members whom he considers to be excessively fair and neutral. In his lexicon, there is nothing called fair, nothing called neutral - AS FAR AS OTHER INDIANS ARE CONCERNED. For himself, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

And that is precisely why they are the mirror image of your Islamists; for both, the moderates of their respective 'sides' (no question of staying neutral) are the biggest targets of hatred.

Having said that, they start by attacking the hated Muslim. Only when they are smacked across the muzzle by a Moderator do they turn to what they mistakenly think is the easier 'moderate' prey. By this time, the Pakistani members have already lost their tempers.

I have no problem with this development of the analysis, but it is supplementary. Why do I have no problem with it? Put simply, between the three of us, @jbgt90, @padamchen and I, who gets attacked the most? And who is next? The third person is a dark horse, an inscrutable Oriental on the forum; their hierarchy is most liberal first.

Hi,

Truth has many faces---as an attorney in LA divorce court tells the judge in a divorce case---. There is her side of the truth---then there is his side of the truth---and then there is the truth---.

Too many ordinary people ended up managing PDF---. People whose only source of information was their daddy---uncle or grandpa---or dad's friends---.

Clueless members became TT members---.

Their thinking was STAGNANT---they had very little exposure to the world outside of their immediate group---they lacked vision and understanding---.

They feared a loss of face more than actual loss---. Pakistan being in a desperate position due to sanctions---also influenced and caged their thinking as well---.

With no concept of thinking on the fly---with no concept of changing direction mid course mid step under changing circumstances---they were at a loss how to cope with the problems---.

This board truly failed pakistan---. It had this marvellous opportunity to lift up pakistan's image at critical times on multiple occasions---but they failed---.

Poor souls never knew how much power they had---and how much they could do for the motherland---but then you have to have vision to know how powerful you are to enforce your presence---.

I joined PDF in 2015 but had been a lurker since 2009. In those early days, anti-Pakistani and anti-Muslim rhetoric by indians was tolerated and somewhat accepted too. Also, there were many cucked Pakistanis here who believed that by being anti-Pakistani, anti-Muslim/Islamic, you were being "progressive" and "liberal". indian propaganda and media outlets were accepted as being honest and reliable sources. Nowadays, Pakistanis seem more patriotic and nationalistic. We have exposed and disproved many anti-Pakistani narratives. For example the massacre of 3 million bengalis and the rape of 10 million bengali women by the PA in 1971. The Pakistanis on PDF are now better at defending Pakistan and exposing lies levelled against us.

Well not everyone is a slow learner like you :D I was just a lurker here and preferred to engage with those who i disagree with on facebook that is until certain relatives joined it and started liking my abusive comments
I was a graduate at 20 and a master at 22. My first job in the private sector started aged 18 that ranged from pizza delivery guy to a front developer at a software house and I also topped the exam for a government post aged 23 and at age 26(next year) my case for promotion to the seat of gazetted government officer will get approved on seniority and qualification base.
Just because your life was an utter joke doesnot mean all of us are failures :D
Impressed!

I can't really reminiscence about the good old days, as frankly I am not that senior myself. However, I was a lurker for a few years before formally jumping in. The trolls have always existed, but I think the quality of the posts were mesmerizing, there was one particular Pakistani poster, who's posts were a joy to read. The back and forth debates of certain intelligent members was a good way for me to wind down after university (Yes, I know this probably sounds sad).

But recently, in the past few years, the vitriol has this menacing touch to it, that makes one hesitant to continue posting. For me personally, it became difficult to present my opinion on anything without at least one person getting personal.

I don't believe the overall quality will improve until the stated rules of the forum are enforced without bias, and by the mods etc themselves.

Edit: I should add I am no angel and have been quite guilty of doing the above myself when I have lost my temper.

Hi,

Neo was not a " Javed Hashmi "---he was a wonderful poster---very smart guy.

The webmaster at that time wanted to keep too much control over the members and wanted to look into what each member was doing---Neo disagreed and was let go or left---.
