What type of safety system for crew and armoured vehicles been used by pak army

World is changing around us drastically It is all about how good you are to survive in battlefield our army with my knowledge hardly used any active defence machenism against in coming projectiles to our armour such as trophy system is doing great job why Pakistan army lack luster in this aspect

Israel also using new helmets from which aroured personal can see from inside the tank as he is sitting outside

Rather than upgrading speed etc we should considering taking our armoured core and divisions survivability as our enemy is bigger than us we must have some kind of defensive machenism like trophy on our all armour

A wonderful share , certainly the National Defence groups need to keep pace with Visual Tech which is emerging in modern world. And various gadgets which are touch centric and highly dependent on Visual data based visors

I have personally noted a weakness in the Vehicles used by Pakistani forces, which are very minimal in armored protection , such as the Pickups which are routinely used by Rangers.

Similarly lack of proper protection for Tank's Machine gun operator.

If had a proper availability of proper armored vehicles across all the forces, I am sure casualties could have been avoided by 40-60%

Similarly , the bombings around checkposts areas can also be minimised by armored cabins for guards who guard such checkposts , obviously they do need backup with Armored vehicle at distance in case someone tries to run past them

There is 0% reason why our fight against Terror should be fought at same footsoldier level , and why we should not use every bit of technology in our favor

The thread starter raised a very valid point , adaption of Visual Tech and no reason why AlKhalid / Al Khalid 1 can also not beneift from similar adaption

I don't like the idea of Officer having to come out of tank to man the gun (not sure if it is anti air or anti infantary weapon)

That is not a machine Gun operator, tanks these days have a crew of three & in some cases ( tanks without auto loaders) four. Exclusive MG crews were on some WWII tanks which had a dedicated hull gun.

The MG on the turret is an additional weapon which has both AA & ground roles.

For the record, unless being actively engaged, tank commanders usually stay ' open'. Therefore manning such external weapons is not a problem.

ofcourse ... we cant go with the same technology for centuries
but u know its not our fault all goes to pathetic govt who dont even provide enough funds to introduce or make the modern or atleast better equipments
whyy isreal had too muvh modern equipment even their and oue budget is at same line just a minor difference?????? coz they r funded alot to go with the tech
