What script does Languages in Pakistan use?

Quite different (as the below image shows). I can totally believe that Shahmukhi was the more common script pre-1947 given that the Sikh Empire even at its peak of Ranjit Singh used Persian (with its perso-arabic script like Shahmukhi) as the court language. Even today of course Shahmukhi is more common given that Pakistan has way more Punjabis than India.

Is it the same case for Sindhi in Pakistan vs India?

Very interesting

Now I understand @Vedic 's point of no commonality between India and Pakistan.

Language, Food and Religion which make most aspects of the culture are all different now. Only genetics may be same.
Even looking at genetics, we're totally different; modern day Pakistan was never apart of an 'India' and looking at history its always remained part of the Western bloc.

May be. I do not know. Do you have any stats on the genetic differences?

Yes. I think Pakistan does not belong in South Asia.

The question is does Pakistan belong in Middle east or Central Asia? To which culture are you closer?

Were kind of in the middle with a unique culture

We are on the peripheries of all of these regions, so we got our own thing going on here lol.

We have a unique culture - thousands of years of invasions, migrations, assimilation, inter-mingling and ect... have led to four very unique cultures in Pakistan who are all dissolving to form one culture.

I believe Pakistanis are mostly the immigrants from Middle East (Pashtuns who are all over country?)or Central Asia (in north) with some from Indian civilization as minorities. I maybe wrong though. Only a Pakistani can tell ground realities.

But do most Pakistanis think.

There are three big cultures surrounding Pakistan. It is obvious based the above discussion that Pakistan is different than India.

Do Pakistanis consider themselves closer to Iran? I read many people here consider closer to Turkey than Iran. So I am assuming Pakistan is closer to Turkey, Afganistan and central Asia than Iran.

bro, our Culture is Same but we are Racially Different People.
and yes you are right, Pakistanis are not South Asians (Indic) they are Mixed Race People who belong to,

Well yes our culture is same somewhat, or was we can say. Once a Pakistani political commentator said "we are Arabs, but there is no Arab within us (culturaly), we are not Indians, but Indian is within is (culturaly).

Turks are not necessarily Turkish. Pakistan has huge Pashtun population, so one can assume they are Iranian people.

Pashtuns believe it or not are not Iranian people but have roots from Israel.

I think we'd be closer to Iran and Afghanistan - not very similar to Turkey.

Sindhis tend to have the closest culture to India in Pakistan - Punjabis share similarities to Indian Punjabis too - but thats about it. Brahui people in Thar and Balochistan are identical to South Indians.

True

40% Iranic and other are heavily Mixed Race (get Indian DNA now Dump Iranic, C Asian, Greek, Saka, Mongl etc etc.)

we are totally different now yes we were same 2400 years ago but not now. we are heir of 2 Oldest Civilizations. look at our Soft Power even our enemies sing and dance on our Songs and watches our Movies. we are Pure People with single Identity we don't need any Mongrels or Inferior People

English Translation:

Starting from Himalayas and extending upto Indian Ocean is the nation created by God which is known as 'Hindusthan'. Himalayan ranges including Hindukush parvat on Western side and the ranges extending upto North Myanmar ( Brahmadesh) on the Eastern side formed the Northern Boundary of ancient Hindusthan. This land extended upto the Indian Ocean on the Southern side.
This is the sacred land where God took Birth from time to time and recreated and established the social structure.

Bhai, not even 2400 years ago were we the 'same'. Major portions of Modern day Pakistan always remained a part of the Western block - and only two times in history were they ever 'conquered' by an Indian Empire and those being very brief.

We have connections with all, even the most ardent Pakistani nationalist wont deny our link and connection to india/south Asia

As for the rest Turkey, Iran etc its a mixture and depends on the individual and where they are from which determines if they feel close to a particular state

So People in KP might feel a closer link to Afghanistan/ Central Asia and Turkey
As would Northern Pakistanis and Kashmiris,

Punjabis and Sindis might see stronger connections to India (North india at least)

Baloch might feel a link to iran

Then you have religious considerations so shia might feel more affinity for iran

Its a mixed bag without a definitive answer
