What is your thoughts of Iraq how do you see Iraq

.
Malik jan I used to be at the degassing stations, working for Petrofac, a corrupt UAE entity. I left because I couldn't deal with the corruption! These western companies are thieves.

We are not brought up to dwell in corruption and incompetence. It became suffocating to look the other way! I couldn't deal with it.

In shaa Allah

Do you work on that power plant in Rumayla

Sometimes I wonder why the Khatem ul Anbia not get involved to end the corruption. We are holding back out of respect for the Iraqi nation! There has to be limits.

Its not them its our lot that bring foreign companies for commissions we pay big bucks for services of oil productions companies something our guys can do.

Yes brother but remember the executives and directors of the SOC were being wined and dined in London by both the BP and Petrofac. These guys had no choice but oblige!

We down below could see it, feel it, sense it and experienced the magnitude of corruption when Iraq was being plundered.

I couldn't deal with this. I know many people were just fine, they just said well not your problem. This is how it works. The corruption in the system.

The iraqis said we have to? we don't and can't run it

No the poor Iraqi's were never in middle management! It was always the dirty hendi, the fukking pommy tommy UK crooks and the other nationalities. All there to make a buck!

The westerners employ these 'third world' people to undertake the corruption, whilst they manage it from the top! So they are not directly doing it, but directing it.

If you see corruption, and do nothing, then you part take in it!....We are not brought up like this.

Surprisingly I didn't see a single Iranian anywhere in the project teams at Rumeila oil fields, (second largest in the world). I was the only fukking one!
Iran's "sphere" is in the shiite, oil rich south of Iraq.Did you check that part of Iraq out for Iranians?

Iran has not interfered in Iraq's economy at all! Iran's only limited to providing assistance to the Iraqi Army and the PMU's for security. No other involvement, other than Iranians at Iraqi religious sites and I saw it when I was there.
Dont be naive. Most of the cement and dairy Iraq consumes comes from Iraq. Iranian govt has also prevented Iraqi domestic industries(some)from setting up well to compete with Iranian products. I am not attacking Iran when i say this btw, i am just telling you the objective truth about the ground realities in Iraq which i read about. Do you know what it means to provide cement, the basic building block for a country severely damaged by war? And Iranians have obviously entrenched via proxy in the Iraqi govt too.

Bro, let me explain one thing about corruption. I am half Nigerian so i know about it- Corruption is a function of selfishness. Anywhere people think too individually(regarding interests)you will have corruption. Desperation definitely worsens it but Iraqis being corrupt is probably because of : destroyed infrastructure and systems+ individualistic(religion, tribe, sect) thinking.

A fellow Arab country that we share extremely close ties with on all fronts be it historical (ever since the first civilizations in the world emerged in the Arab world several, several millennia ago in particular Sumer and Dilmun to mention a few and the close symbiosis between them), Islamic, ethnic, linguistic, tribal, cultural, geographic etc. you name it. More or less the same people divided by modern-day states and borders (that have been changing for millennia like anywhere else in the world), fate and decades of political instability. A country that I share ancestral and family ties with. Like millions on both sides of the border. A country that I almost consider as my own in the historical aspect and people to people relations. But that is similar to all other Arab countries in the region whether it is Yemen, Qatar, Syria, Jordan etc. Regardless of the ongoing politics and what regimes in power are doing or not doing. That's something that we as Arabs should always remember before anything else. Blood is thicker than water after all.

The change in relations on the government level (people to people have always been great and will remain as such until the end of time, I have no doubt about this) has been a great positive and gives hope for even closer times which is much needed for the sake of Iraq's interests and that of KSA and the wider Arab world (at least our region of the Arab world).

Doing otherwise as governments, is shooting yourself in the feet. Something that sadly is very common in the MENA region and Muslim world as a whole.

My friend, Iraq earns $250 billion from oil sales per year these days. It also earns a further $100 odd billion from hosting up to 22 million pilgrims annually who visit the holy sites. Iraq is a very rich country. Iraq is also the center for religious charities for the Shiite world garnering further 100's of billions annually. There is a lot of money going around. Iran has helped where it could. The rest is up to the Iraqi's to 'resurrect'....'restart'.....invest in for new industries. Iran can only do so much. The problem remains to empower its own masses, and to get rid of all outsiders, including Iran. Same thing goes for Iranian advisers in Syria. They are only there to help the Syrian government get on its own feet. Iran can't and won't interfere in Syrian nations baathist/ socialist liberal agenda. Iran is very careful in this regard. Let the locals decide their own future and run their own agenda. 3000 years of empire building is a vindication of this for Iran. The moment you digress from this, you set yourself up for failure.

Lool you just tripled the oil money and then you made the visitors number like twenty to thirty folds bro you are educated we export less than four millions bpd in price of 60$ or less minus the production service we hardly make 50-60 billion dollars per year

about visitors they bring none because mostly they come in asuraa which is served by Iraqis

Malik jan, Rumeila alone produced a million per day ( on bad days).....lol..... If you include Quneitra, AlFaw, Kirkuk, and a dozen others It is more like 5 mbpd. Lets just say 5 mbpd with today's oil price of what $87/b would give you a cool $435 million per day in earnings. Just from raw crude. Once Beiji comes on line, then Iraq intends to recoup on its condensates and other value added products. Iraqi gas fields are also coming on line soon. The earnings only going up. I know, production costs are negligible, SOC had 3000 employees......the oil gushes out with very high natural pressure. No need to even pump it out. Only costs are the western leaches EPC's and drilling outfits like sclumberger and Halliburton etc.

Since 2003 straight, on average 30-40 million pilgrims have visited Iraq annually from the whole world, not just for Arba'een. Lets say one pilgrim spends $1000 to $2000 for rent/ accommodation/ food/ rituals for the week or fortnight etc, what does that say? We won't even count the donations and the money people leave behind.

Even if we assume half these figures in net $ profit, this is something to be proud off! We all hope the best for Iraq. The sky is the limit.

You talking about all the money Iraq makes is quite ironic, because that is EXACTLY the story of Nigeria too- a "rich" country where poverty is rampant. Bro! Its not about how much money a country makes! Its what you do with all the money you make. If you dont use your money properly, you dont get the benefits of it, simple as that. And since you have made a seemingly good point Iraq is very corrupt, that actually confirms a big chunk of all that money doesnt really go to helping avg Iraqis,so thats exactly why Iraqis arent doing as well, so why are you surprised? Your comments on Iran and Iraq sound so benign, they sound naive and wrong. I already know what you are saying is not correct, but maybe thats how effective Iran is in Iraq- invisible power. Iraq cannot get rid of Iran because that is not how Iran operates. There is no country Iran entrenches in that Iran pulls out of. Watch Syria too. I can even say Iran uses "war" as a way to earn its "residency" in arab countries.DId Iran ever leave Lebanon? Iran doesnt give a F about failing at empire building because IRan is addicted to it.

I wish what you say is a reality but it's not not even close
those visitors in general highly spend 300 bucks due to the services they get from the shrines management services they have a whole hostel lime where people sleep even food is available
About oil prices it's just lately went up otherwise it was cheap.
