What's new

What is your thoughts of Iraq how do you see Iraq

Look, no question there is corruption. The billions that get swindled away in western bank accounts. No shit!

However, what I tried pointing out too is the enormous profits being generated, and no question Iran also sells its own oil and gas via Iraq to bypass sanctions.

However saying that Iran is involved everywhere in Iraqi domestic agenda is not correct. No Iraqi will tolerate that.

You talking about all the money Iraq makes is quite ironic, because that is EXACTLY the story of Nigeria too- a "rich" country where poverty is rampant. Bro! Its not about how much money a country makes! Its what you do with all the money you make. If you dont use your money properly, you dont get the benefits of it, simple as that. And since you have made a seemingly good point Iraq is very corrupt, that actually confirms a big chunk of all that money doesnt really go to helping avg Iraqis,so thats exactly why Iraqis arent doing as well, so why are you surprised? Your comments on Iran and Iraq sound so benign, they sound naive and wrong. I already know what you are saying is not correct, but maybe thats how effective Iran is in Iraq- invisible power. Iraq cannot get rid of Iran because that is not how Iran operates. There is no country Iran entrenches in that Iran pulls out of. Watch Syria too. I can even say Iran uses "war" as a way to earn its "residency" in arab countries.DId Iran ever leave Lebanon? Iran doesnt give a F about failing at empire building because IRan is addicted to it.

janam......oil is headed to $120 soon.....don't worry too much. Good days lie ahead.

I wish what you say is a reality but it's not not even close
those visitors in general highly spend 300 bucks due to the services they get from the shrines management services they have a whole hostel lime where people sleep even food is available
About oil prices it's just lately went up otherwise it was cheap.

I always viewed Iraq positively, it has been thourought a lot in its rich history, good thing is the ties seem to be get better with Turkey recently.
The Iraq of a couple years ago would never allow ground operations to pkk bases which is the case now, lets hope for more cooperation so we can solve our common problems together.

I am disappointed that Iraq appears to have become a vassal to Iran.
We may become one nation in the near future, and you may die after hearing that, and we both know why. American Swine!
1. Nobody knows what will happen in Iraq's future and i am not overly optimistic
2.Iran will never allow Iraq have enough power to instigate trouble against Iran
3. Moqtada Al-Sadr said initially he wouldnt work with the Americans or Iranians or the Iraqis who were Iran's friends. Now he is forming govt with the last group.
4. I'm not sure Iraq will have strong pride as a nation for a while.
5.Its naive and foolish for Iraqi sunnis to think there was no cost to be paid for Saddam's abuses and connection to them.
6. If Iraqi govt doesnt "bond" the country solidly together soon, Iraq will probably split.
7.No one can get Iran out of Iraq.
8. Iraq is blessed and CAN heal back.
While Iran has no military base in Iraq, and USA has in North West of Iraq in Kurdish controlled area, people are still whining about Iran.

Iraq has never been a trouble for Iran, Ba'ath party lost its power to CIA puppet Saddam after a coup. We never considered Iraq an enemy, Shah the big idiot was playing In American hands to spread Arab phobia in Iran but after revolution, our view of Iraq is a holy land of Muslims.

Iraq is a very historical country, meanwhile it's history without mentioning Iran has no meaning, from babylonians to the current Iraq, we have deep roots connected to each in both religion and history. So Iraq is too old in historical pov. Having a people very similar to Iranians. Basra and Ahwaz of Iran are twins, I have met Iranian Arabs and Basra immigrants and I can say with no doubt that they have similar looking and similar life styles.

@Malik Alashter , brother, listen to me
After kicking Americans out of Iraq with Iran's help, Americans have been looking for a way to come back to Iraq. Not to mention that Iraq has the role of a diamond in geopolitical and geostrategic equations of world powers, hence being so important. Americans empowered ISIS and other terror groups within Iraq with help of their puppets in middle east, bullying Iraqi governors to accept their military presence once again. The same story is going on in Sinai of Egypt, deserts of Yemen, Libya and other countries that USA wants to have permanent presence. Actually terror and terrorism is a tool in the hands of US regime to bully independent nations and the possible threats to Israel. Remember that Obama called ISIS the freedom fighters and Qaeda the moderate and useful terrorists.

These equations made by Americans are serious threats to Iraqi national safety, that was why IRGC helped Iraq to overcome terrorism without needing American aid. And remember Afghanistan, where USA has promised to destroy terrorism and help Afghan nation to grow and thrive. Look at Libya where Americans liberated lol, look at Sinai of Egypt and follow the news. Egypt should forget about Sinai under pathetic losers the El Sisi who is working with Israelis to bring peace into the region.

Iraq is our holy land, our neighbor and a part of our historic soul, we want its forever safety, on the other hand, Americans have always tried to use Iraq for their own agenda. They planted CIA agent inside the body of Ba'ath party and waged war on revolutionary Iran. From now on, if Iraq wants to decide freely and establishes logical relations with its neighbor Iran, American swines will whine about Iranian presence in Iraq.

The only way to get rid of these American craps, is to build Iraq with help of Iraqi youth, Iraqi scientists, Iraqi people and without looking at the hands of other powers. Iraqi people are completely capable of building an independent Iraq.

The ties can be way better if Turkey government stop meddling in our issues and give Iraq his share of water as we Iraqis never intervened in Turkish issues plus we help her with trades in almost every sector of the country

Iraq has the role of a diamond in geopolitical and geostrategic equations of world powers
I wish our leader our people know that our position in the heart of the west Asia and middle east should make us a strong player with a word that paid attention by all
except our lot acting like no one in this Savage world

Turkey Iraq and Syria agreed upon 500m3/s flow af far as i remember, if Iraq thinks its being violated then they can file an official complaint.

This thread to every one to tell his thoughts or feeling when he or she hear or see news about Iraq

Thanks.

Malik Alashtter.
Well its a complete cock up thankfully Iraqis kicked out the devilish isis and the world hopes lessons are learnt and
future Iraq becomes a secular democracy and serve her residents without any sectarian , ethinic , religious BS

Lazy people who expect the government to do everything for them (except when it comes to war), although that is the entire middle east. Disappointing state. Let us leave aside history.

However the country is in a much better state than it was 10 years ago.

To the pessimists here, gents just have some patience. Iraq is undergoing a transitional period and it will come out far stronger and united. Compared to 2003 and now there are huge changes. Things are looking up. It will only get better from here on.
