Do you know the reason why British were able to set a firm foot on Indian soil in the first place ??? It was the Battle of Plassey, which changed the future. And look who betrayed the Nawab and their own country men, they were not Christians or Hindus. His name is "Mir Jafar Ali Khan" a Muslim, while a Hindu commander "Mir Madan Mohan Lal" (a Hindu) Embraced martyrdom fighting for his kind and countrymen.

The same happened with the sultan of Mysore, Tipu. It was his commander Mir Sadiq, again a Muslim who betrayed his king and countrymen, while Hindu kings like Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja from my sate of Kerala, died for interdependence as an ally of Tipu. It was another crucial war which turned the fate of Indian independence movement.
