Depending on what happens, there certainly may be more pressure in the future. China acts cautiously but when it has to, it acts decisively. However China typically makes its move quietly like a ninja so the nuances are very important. Wang Yi recently came out with a very pro Palestinian message and that indicates its stance in the region has significantly shifted towards Palestine.

Not really. China was historically relatively neutral and uninvolved with the conflict. It’s only in the last few years as Israel has ganged up with the US against China whether it was about Covid or the alleged Uyghur genocide (pretty rich that Israel is accusing China of genociding Muslims lol) that China has been waking up to the fact that Israel is acting as an enemy state. Since then China has started to shift its position in the region to not only be more Pro Palestine but have also turned the geopolitical table against Israel by facilitating the Saudi Iran detente.

The gist is that China is new to the region as far as being an involved actor but its presence and influence is growing to Israel’s detriment. Is China going to start sending warships to bomb Israel? No. But it will certainly start working against Israel’s interest and that’s a huge shift that is still developing.

America is controlled by Israelis.

Aggression against China from America is sanctioned and promoted by Israelis.

Thinking in terms of traditional Chinese philosophy, I have a few words for the Jewish members of PDF.

1, In human history, there are no empires that never fall, and the United States will be no exception.

2, In the history of mankind, there are no countries that are always dominant. Israel will be no exception.

3, Israel's behaviour now is consuming the future credit and reputation of the Jewish people. In the future, should the Jews be in a crisis, this debt may well lead the entire Jewish people into the abyss of universal enmity.

4, The Arabs can lose a hundred times and they can do it all over again. Israel only has to lose once and it will be overthrown. Israel should integrate itself into the region and make itself acceptable to other countries. Only then can it avoid the final tragic end.

At the Japanese surrender the Chinese delegation wasn't even in the front row.

The only reason they were "stopped" is because after 10 years of fighting you guys their army had managed to march down through the Eastern side of China and walked right into the rest of South East Asia in the 1940's and needed to spread out their resources more.

I think you can debate the fall of the British Empire.
They weren't actually beaten but basically asked to relinquish most of it on humanitarian grounds after WW2 (since it was pretty hypocritical to kick the Japanese/Germans out of occupied countries but leave the British in theirs). Nobody really threatened them. Not that they had the ability to hold it anymore after spending so much resources against the Germans...so it might be moot.

I can't but think that this could all have been avoided if the Hamas hadn't directly attacked Israel in the first place. This conflict itself would not have been there if muslims allowed the Jews to have their homeland without threatening it constantly and having them fight for their survival. Middle east is vast and Israel is tiny. Muslims made it a religious war hence no one supports Palestine over human rights given how badly they are trampled throughout Middle East.
