The world thinks that India is a congested, f*lthy, poverty striken s*ithole but Indians are deluded about being a superpower, when about 700 million Indians don't even have access to toilets.

It's an issue that also affects the 700 million Indians without access to toilets, and the hundreds of thousands of Indians who collect their waste.

BBC NEWS | South Asia | India's 'untouchable' waste collectors

Better be the congested, f*lthy, poverty striken s*ithole than being a failed state where foreigners just come, shoot two people in the middle of the road and the own govt pays for their return travel expense and a third country comes, pays some money and bombs the shyt out of its own people with scant respect for sovereignity.

The Indians trolling here have completely lost the plot, derailing this thread about the 'Best Capital of South Asia' into another Pakistan India one. Only Indians are capable of doing this. I applaud you guys :yahoo:

Forbes Magazine: Mumbai, Delhi among world's dirtiest cities

While listing Mumbai as the seventh dirtiest, the magazine also cites a recent private sector proposal, Vision Mumbai, which seeks $1 billion government aid for infrastructure, pollution control and economic growth strategy.

Delhi at No.24 fares little better but gets drubbing for the pollution in Yamuna river, which is devoid of marine life and where "garbage and sewage flow freely, creating a rich environment for the growth of water-borne diseases contributing to extremely high rates of infant morbidity."
