Certainly I would agree that the crux of our problems is the lack of good leadership.

Also, with regards to the military disparity between two countries in think the comparison is unnecessary in this context because obviously US has superiority in this field. Though Pakistan can inflict some serious damage to US assets in the region but beyond that I doubt anything more significant would be achieved.

So the obvious and most effective thing to do is passive-aggressiveness in the foreign policy area. But again that requires good leaders who do not compromise the nation's interests for their own personal vested interests.

Everyone knows about the military disparity but that does not mean that we have only two options; either become their b*tch or face utter annihilation. That is the impression given by many posters here.
We can pursue our own national interests and keep the water warm without making it boil. Isn't much difficult.

Of course. We just need to play our cards right. But the ones playing the cards on our behalf are don't exactly have our interests in mind.

you are talking extreme which I cant predict.

given the power disparity. there wont be any response. our response will be invalid. our strongest or most potent weapons are nuclear tipped cruise missiles which we might try to launch against American targets within range and they will be targeted by the Americans in the first wave of attack through satellites and stealth aircrafts anything remaining like.
our defense systems will be neutralized ahead of time though electronic warfare , jamming , hacking and communication systems fried.

I am sorry but we have built our forces to fight at best with India. not with a super power like USA which is light years away in terms of technology.

keep India in its place so that it doesn't confuse itself as a super power
and keep giving it a treatment which brings it back to earth.

when US conducted the Abbotabad Strike then Indians started jumping that they will do the same thing and in only few days time their helicopter flew into Northern areas of Pakistan by mistake or by design but was force landed and their balloon was deflated. even Indian news papers ran jokes on the Indian government. whenever the Indians talk about running drone strikes then we also remind them with an IAF downed drone of Israeli origin.
as for America, well James Mattis has said it himself that despite all the twitter and news briefings ,, the Pentagon is still in touch with Pakistan army.
