1. Pakistan would most likely have become another Iraq, Afganistan etc....in the US never ending "war against terror"

one could also argue the Iran case. Forget India, superpowers like USA, Israel and Saudi thought 100 times before attacking Iran and each and everytime they backed down because of scary thought that iran might just end up using one of these nukes if pushed to further with any strikes in Iran.

Also one might also say the international isolation Modi talks about is the kind of sanctions Iran faced in the 70's from the world. Modi is thinking along those kind of sanctions, but he doesn't realise sanctions theory was blown apart 30 odd years ago by Iran.
