@ topic I wish both the countries never declared the nukes, it was stupidity and arrogance of India and Pakistan followed it too. The progress would have been sky high if any of restrained to declare nukes. Although with such large population and brain power it was given both countries would have possessed nuke anyways without declaring.

I think it is collective national psyche which makes a nation progress. Look at Japan. Nukes do not stop us from progress but our own mentalities

having big enemy is a blessing in disguise otherwise we just be like libya no will no major military.
we are nation that knows what is neccessity although i personally feel not enuff but compare to other muslim countries they have no understanding of build strong military and self defence concept except glass buildings , fast cars, european women, lack of work ethic and cant live without air conditing.

nows here my issue with pakistan:

there is a need for draft/survival prepper training.

1. draft as much you can young chuldren girls and boys train them up for 6 months on gun/practical traning and some paper education. by then every child knows how to handle any gun , etc
2.child knows how catch food and do sabah halal, first aid and how to use water filter. this bit is survival.
3. All this traning and equipment costs, so they can pay back by doing 6 months of nation building which styled on military displine but you go around help build school by carrying bricks, unoading trucks etc, help ederly cross rd, clear road and road building, build bridges, communication lines, setup factories by helping move equipment machine tools etc.

Too much focus on attaining militsry power and nuclear power in Pakistan..

This fear is installed into minds of Pakistanis by their military's ruling elite..they wish to run Pakistan so keep the image and threat of big bad India wishing to retain their control they say Pakistan needs nukes and military power..the pak army keeps the Kashmir issue red hot with proxy wars .

India has shown Pakistanis real power is economic power not Nukes or large navy etc.

India has all three large GDP large military and nukes yet tbecsingle most vital.is the GDP power
