What's new

What ethnic group are Afghan Hindus?

I read about it that Pakistan tried artificially add more Persian words to Urdu after independence. The arificial Urdu can differentiated from the original Indian one but you guys claims we have added more Sanskrit word to it. Just like Pot calling the Kettle black. :sarcastic:

Anyone with even the tinniest bit of intellect would know that there is no 'original' language & there is no 'artificial' language for a language is a human construct !

And that Urdu by its very nature is an ever-evolving language exponentially more so than Sanskrit, English or German to name a few.

And we have no added Persian to our Urdu for the Urdu that was spoken in these parts of Pakistan was already Persianized to an extent that Persian was the Court Language of the Mughal Empire & for a while the British Indian Empire naturally the imprint it has had on the local languages is vast.

At any rate Urdu & Persian are not mutually intelligible in the least bit & our Urdu borrows loan words from Persian, from Turkish, from Arabic, from Sanskrit & from our local languages in addition to being written in the Persian Script - I dunno where the Pot or the Kettle comes from in any of this !

You are very much aware that most of the Indians don't pronounce them in exact Persian way. BTW Pakistan tried to make Urdu more artificial after independence by replacing Indian words with more Persian words.

I am not talking about "most Indians" but Punjabis - Now why are you jumping from Punjabi to Urdu?

for example ?

Urdu is a very rich language and it has this ability to absorb words from other languages

That wasn't the abilty but artificial addition by government of Pakistan to pull Urdu closer to Central Asia. I previously felt amazed why the Indian Urdu so easy to understand while Pakistan's Urdu is so diificulf to understand.

But sb. - this self appointed professor of Pakistan affairs don't even know that our Urdu has become Punjabised not Persianised

govt cant force people to speak so and so language so your claim is just not right.

Urdu is a beautiful language which has this ability to absorb words from any other language.

Any word which Indians can't pronounce correctly is artificial for them.

Government can do it when its not your mother tongue and since most of you learn Urdu from school and PTV.

They are speaking very simple Punjabi, anyone can understand it. He was expressing praises for Lahnda dialect. ;)

Not really Bihari, you can't even undersand urdu let alone punjabi. You should stick with bojpuri.

buddy are you even aware of gurmukhi Punjabi language.. the last 5 alphabets sound what you are talking about but they aint used that much and regarding Punjabi language we Sikhs speak Punjabi 100 times betterthan you people and no we don't talk in hindi with our kids unlike you chura Punjabis of Pakistan. you can deny all you want but this is what I have seen with almost every Pakistani Punjabi.

Punjabi Christians and muslims were the low cast converts..Punjabi Christians are called maseehee biradari and muslims as sulleh( both of them look like that Pakistani Christian batsmen who later converted to muslim). now sulleh made their own nation that doest mean they somehow changed and become confident of themselves. they are even to this day full of inferiority complex.

hahaha

Another retarded drugie, no wonder Kuljit Singh is crying. 33% of of indian punjabis are chamars while just 3-4% of Pakistani punjbais. There is 1 in 3 chances of you being chamar, which you probably are. lol Also read history, even jatt sikhs were of low caste. Sikhsim is full of low caste people.

Also kh, ph, z, etc You guys use them alot and they sound fuckedup when they come from your mouth. No wonder your elders keep crying pure punjabi is only spoken in Pakistani punjab. We can spot Indian punjabi sikh in less then a second when he open his mouth.

My dear Bhaiyaied Punjabi, your assumption are completely wrong. Very soon there would be no difference between your Punjab and Karachi. Everyone will be happy, your concerns are of no importance to your bhaiyaied future generation. ;)
