What does China think about Kashmir. My POV

.
The first part is irrelevant to this topic.

Respecting other's wishes is not a valid point to incorporate major national policy decisions. As for Jammu, go there and say in public. You will get your answer from the people.
Don't act like a typical Indian now talk with the prove

East India Company ?

Have you mixed up your history or was it in jest ?

Does Ferozpore have a dam ?
Go to sleep. Not your fault that you are an Indian. Denial is something in your blood. Guess what? It always your fault right?

50 students were expelled from the University just because they were cheering up for Pakistan lmaoo.

There is something called respecting others wishes. At least we gave them right to live the way they want to NOT like you who failed to deliver the basic rights the people of Jammu

No sovereign state in the world does that. Lets be practical and there is no other rights than fundamental rights given by the constitution of India.

Azad!!

Sub section 3 of section 31 of 'AJK' constitution reads, "neither the Council nor the Assembly shall have the power to make any law concerning- (a) the responsibilities of Government of Pakistan under UNCIP resolutions; (b) the defence and security of Azad Jammu and Kashmir; (c) the current coin or the issue of any bills, notes or other paper currency; or (d) the external affairs of Azad Jammu and Kashmir including foreign trade and foreign aid".9 Section 19 (2) states that the government of 'AJK' has to comply with the rules made by the 'AJK' council, which is headed by the prime minister of Pakistan. Out of 13 members, the Pakistani prime minister nominates 5 members. Hence, the Kashmir Council, supposed to be an Upper House of 'AJK' legislature, has the Pakistan prime minister as chairman

Dont give this Azad $hit to anyone, atleast not to me.
It's "Azad" Kashmir so what if it's not in the spirit at least in the letter it is.

The discussion has been derailed from What China thinks of Kashmir issue and people's take on it, to what Pakistan ought to do to gain international support or Plebiscite. This is disingenuous to say the least.

Should I remind you how you treat Muslims Kashmiri women or what?

fundamental rights? Would you arrange a simple referendum in Kashmir? What is the meaning of fundamental rights in your book? I guess don't allow Kashmiris to vote :victory:

. .
How Kashmir problem can be link to China position on Taiwan and China sovereignty as a nation. Just like how the US media outlet reason why China wouldn't openly support Russia annex of Crimea, same pretext why China won't support Pakistan on Kashmir for the same reason. The OP parrot the same line while he watch the US media outlet.

.
China itself is a party to Kashmir. Its will think from its own interests.

.
Furthermore, since China is a P5 member, I don't see how there could be any meaningful UN involvement in Tibet and HK. For one, those areas are not under international dispute, crazed ranting from Hollywood liberals and hippies aside. They're recognized by literally every other nation on earth as a part of China. Not disputed territory and not in any way comparable to Kashmir. And Taiwan isn't even recognized by the UN as a member state. And that "state department" guy mentioned a plebiscite in the South China Sea? Who would be voting? Fish?

No offense to "US retired State Dept" but for a supposedly informed official, his first thread seems remarkably uninformed. But hey, it's the internet. Anyone can claim to be anything.

You know there is a reason why I don't reply to similar threads like those made by Genesis. I'll make this one exception to yours. I ignore replies of the kind because of the absolute lack of understanding in what was stated.

Your single focus of picking up choice words within a post and then going with whatever comes to your mind is self defeating.

The point I was making was on why China is not a willing supporter of any plebiscite calls or UN intervention. Reasons behind it were, doing so opens them up to be then interfered with similar expectations and calls.

Being a member of P5 is secondary vs. the PR crisis of being asked to offer the same in Taiwan, HK, Tibet and SCS conflicts.

This is last I will say about this. Either you understand it or choose to go with inattentiveness

what does this has anything to do with topic at hand?

My response to the biggest joke of the century. Get it?

Kashmiris have recently voted in majority where they should vote.

Now leave the off topic and discuss about what China think of kashmir issue, not that what you may think.

I am in no mood to explain you, as you can find 1000s of articles in PDF, so read and educate what we mean by referendum, who suggested referendum and why its been nullified, who nullified it, how many parties were involved etc.

Dash

The basic premise general chinese on this forum takes is - They can do anything but since they have the veto, they can block external intervention in absolutely similar case concerning them.

Thankfully, world dont run on this perceived premise, chinese leadership understand the same.

There will be no referendum on Kashmir; pure and simple.

Its got nothing to do with either Kashmirs clamoring for Independence or dying to become a part of India; its got everything to do with India's economy and the large market it presents to otherwise stagnant economies in the West and the East.

Those hoping for International mediation shouldn't hold their breaths for too long because international relations and diplomacy is a euphemistic way of saying that you can be as hypocritical as you want to be and not get called as such as long as you have the right nuisance value.

India's economy has that value; ours does not otherwise countries that were born out of the 'right to self-determination' from our colonial masters would not be denying it to others and finding legal loopholes and jargon to mask their hypocrisy.

Thats just the way things are; so build the economy up, increase your international clout and learn how the game works to get what you want and have even your most blatantly hypocritical acts rationalized away.
