You want members to give their opinion about religions but without stepping on other's toes. Some views are bound are to step on other's toes. If that is not allowed in view of forum rules, then it does not exactly serve the purpose of asking for "views" right ?

alternatively I can use this forum to ask question to learned men/women... I have been told to read quran already.. which basically means... shut up..dont ask difficult question.. it makes us uncomfortable..

also if hinduism can have opposite schools of thought then its not much 'ism' is just group of people doing things in their own way.

No doubt hinduism is also good religion. Yes Quran prohibits us to ask question and there are limitations

Aghori Sadhus are very interesting concept but people can't digest it because it needs very open mind.

Death is considered as an important part in Hinduism and given equal respect.

Its definitely not defamatory, I answered a direct question.
The difference is this.

1. We are discussing something else and suddenly I said you are ugly.. that is offensive
2. You ask me how you look, I said ugly, that is a frank opinion.. It could be wrong but I dont think you can say that its intended to hurt or offend somebody.
