What comes first?Nation or religion?

Problem with this question of "nation" or "religion" is it very subjective and does not really define the circumstances.

eg If given a choice and you have to choose one.

Would you fight, one of your co-religionists but from an enemy nation?
or
Would you fight a fellow citizen(belonging to a different religion) for a co-religionists from another nation.

By answering this question truly, one can easily figure out his priorities.

i dont know why nation comes first for indians but it does irrespective of religion or ethnicity or language. just like this song which gives me goosebumps every time i listen it.

I find my religion in Islam and my nation in Islam. There's no competition, and by extension, no comparison.

Pakistan is as foreign a country as, say, Senegal.

Definitely my Country. India.
IMO, its obvious for most of the Indians to chose Country ahead of Religion, this is what is taught to us right from our school days. Be it school prayers / inspirational stories, they all tell us that we place country ahead of everything.

Proud to see that all Indian members chose nation first. Speaks volumes about us as people.
