What Are You Listening to Right Now - Round 2

listen to this bangla song :D

the melody is similar to some hindi song i have heard.

---

i was watching @Mentee 's punjabi totay vids posted in 'whatever' and the end thumbnails of one took me to rahma ali singing the 'babuji' song in coke studio and the end of that took me to the below song.

'hina ki khushbu' by samra khan and asim azhar in coke studio season 8... nice blending of modern tunes and desi sitar and singing styles... nice contrast between the the singing duo... this song is perfect for live performance especially if the singers are good performers :

www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0Rh7afPspA

let me attach a amusing anecdote that goes well with the reminiscent meandering of the song. :D

when i was 15 or 16 ( 16 i think ) my best friend then who also lived in my area introduced me to a muslim girl in the same area and her name was heena... she lived three roads behind my house... i was quite a shy boy then and when my friend was friendly with the girl, living as they did on the same road, and when he took me to heena's house i being a shy guy did not say more than a hello ( that was rude of me ).

yet either heena was smitten with me before that or became after that... she ensured that she was present where i was ( within the area )... once i was walking with my cycle with my best friend with his cycle on his road and heena came riding on her cycle towards me along with her female also on a cycle... she bumped into my cycle and she "sorry" with a smile in her voice and went on her way... i sensed that her cycle bumping was deliberate... another time there was a inter-area cricket match ( cricket i discarded entirely later of course ) and i was batting and i could see heena and her friend sitting on the low cement outer structure of the dry rainstorm gutter... the ball was bowled, i hooked a shot, it went far and heena and friend clapped... i could sense they were at the ground for me... there was a over change, i went to stand at the bowler end... bowl was bowled, batsman made a shot, i ran towards the other end and was run-out... i dared not look at heena and her friend... i felt humiliated.

i don't remember much else about her but was a pleasant time.

oh well.

oops, thanks for pointing out.

it is now corrected.

the punjabi totay vid was running in a new window and the songs came from the thumbnails at the end and i forgot that right-clicking the vid ( even the song vid ) and copying url from the flash menu will not give me the link to the song but to the original vid ( which was the totay vid )... i should have copied the url and pasted it in a new window and copied url to this thread then.

please watch the song in the same post now.

how about this ?

a happy song, well performed.

what does "rongin kacher chruri" mean?? rongin is of course colourful and "churi" as in knife??

the main singer looks like a wrestler and the other one is funny.

at 1:31 does he say "ileesh maach"??

what does the song generally say??

so, are they pritam hassan and protic hassan??

was she smiling like this ? :D

Procrastination bhai, it is a real........ btw was heena hot.

yeah, procrastination is real, especially when i add all the chances that i missed because i was too shy.

heena had average looks but a voluptuous figure that i now appreciate and now that i think about it her flirty personality should have been admired by me then... sometimes overly shy people ( like i was then ) don't understand that when they are required to appreciate the efforts of someone the shy ones end up being rude to the others by not appreciating or acknowledging the efforts.

That is a fine analysis, you should have been a psychologist.kudos

thank you.

i am a socialist after all... it gives a ability to be empathic, a bit of this remains unexpressed in words and some times given a trigger ( like your comment about procrastination ) the unexpressed empathy finds words. :)
