Western allies cannot allow China to fraternise with the Taliban

I can understand the West will want to dominate Afghanistan through economic means and if that's not allowed, they'll want to keep it under-developed as much as possible in the hope it will gey politically destabilised giving West another chance to get some favourite in there. But that's Western World's wet dream and like I said the neighbours (Iran, Pakistan, China and Russia) will not allow this to happen. This much is definitely clear.

Because Afghanistan is lanlocked, there's not much the Western World can do to Afghanistan without first going through Pakistan or Iran. We just need to hope that some lalchi Pakistani General does not do the only thing the Pakistani Generals are good at.

Like Mongolia?

I disagree - the "Battle for Afghanistan" is over - truly over - everyone wants a stable Afghanistan - even the USA. No one but the Indians are supportig Massoud in the Pansir valley ..

The "Battle for Kashmir" is just starting - The USA will want an Independent Kashmir so that they can try and have bases next to 3 nuclear powers. The Indians want all of it so that they can have a natural land border with Afghanistan and the Central Asian states and the Chinese and Pakistani's want all of Kashmir to free the people from Indian occupation and to also setup connectivity with Africa via Gwadar and build trade links there that cannot be comprimised by India or the USA. You have to ask why is Pakistan spending so much time setting up diplomatic and military relations with African countries so much recently?

The endgame for Kashmir has begun people ..... even when Imran Khan says they Pakistan can accept an independent Kashmir, you have to ask why that signalling? Why do you think the Indians do what they did to Kashmir 2 years ago? They can read the writing on the wall... No matter what happens - the Indians will lose in Kashmir and will have to remove their occupation forces ...

Question: What happens when an apex predator like a Shark, bleeds?

Answer: The first to attack that apex predator, is from its own kind.

Afghanistan is the pivotal point in history, where the West's most powerful country (the apex predator) bled. Now the sharks will begin to circle.

What goes around, comes around. When you build an empire on the blood and bones of the innocent. When outright support brutality (israel), then it is only a matter of time when the snake will bite the arm that feeds it.

Wait and observe!!
ehm. the US retreated from several countries, after seeing if a local government could actually live up to the tasks of governing and defending the people. in Iraq that kinda worked, but in Afghanistan it didn't, possibly due to corruption which according to me at least should be investigated by at least the west.

but the US defence budget for this year is bigger than that of China and a whole lot more countries combined.
see https://www.pgpf.org/chart-archive/0053_defense-comparison

and a full and secure retreat as this has been, leads to a strengthening, not a weakening.
i believe this will prove itself over the years to come.

So what are you gonna do ? Invade Afghanistan again lol?
we now have an opportunity to do post-war analysis and research and development of new weapons designed specifically to gain an edge over groups like the Taliban and any future terror training camps that might pop up in Afghanistan again, while leaving the innocent unharmed. this can be achieved with relatively simple, lego-building-like technological advancements.

if the Taliban don't police their country, as they agreed to, against international terror group activities,
then the Taliban leave our leaders with no other option than to indeed go back into Afghanistan, possibly even with the occasional ground forces..

the Taliban must understand that we are no stranger to deception and flat faced lies, nor to groups that are internally divided into sub-groups with differing opinions. So time will tell.

but we need to fight terrorism, whatever it's base may be, pre-emptively.

and you already heard our leaders say that we will do this anywhere in the world, where-ever it may pop up.
