Hindu temple a symbol of UAE’s culture of tolerance | GulfNews.com
Dubai: In a quiet cobbled alleyway of Bur Dubai, the door of the Imam House opens out to the courtyard of an ancient Hindu temple called Haveli, built more than 100 years ago — 1902 to be precise.
The muezzin’s call rises, calling the faithful for the Maghrib prayer, while the bells of the aarti ring out in celebration of worship of the deity Krishna. And this has been happening for well over a century.
.......
......
“We never had fanaticism in our society. People led simple lives and used to attend the Diwali celebrations of Hindus. People used to greet traders on their religious occasions. Shaikh Rashid would visit businessmen’s homes in Bur Dubai, who were celebrating Diwali.”
Of course! As they say, practice what you preach...
Now when is India going to learn tolerance and rebuild Babri Mosque?
I don't think it will be rebuilt since it has been well established that whoever built this mosque did so after demolishing a Hindu temple that already was there. What may happen is that the grounds in the are may be divided up and portion used to build a mosque and the rest restored for Sri Rama Temple. I recall reading that the local community leaders on both sides have agreed to this approach, so not sure how long it will take for the rest of the nation to buy into it.
I know Indians are extremely emotional and intolerant people, but I wanted to make a point here.
You can not have it both ways, i.e. destroying huge historical mosques or Churches with state's help and demanding from other countries to let you build temples there.
Again...practice what you preach!
You make so many mistakes in 2 sentences that it is breathtaking. Indians are the most tolerant people which is why it is most diversified population in the world and so acknowledged by all that matter and have common sense.
I am preaching nothing. I gave you information since you are terribly uninformed. Whether you learn from it or continue to be prey to your internalized hatred is up to you.
Like your Hindu ancestors sold their religion and converted to Islam..no?Hindus are hypocrites. They hate all Muslims in their hearts regardless of sect but if Muslims offer good money, they will sell anything....literally anything for money....I have seen myself in UAE

My ancestors were not hindusLike your Hindu ancestors sold their religion and converted to Islam..no?
UAE builds a temple for idol worshipping on the peninsula where our prophet destroyed the idols in the kaaba and india elects Modi who has the blood of thousands of muslims on his hands
Go figure
Indians and tolerance are two opposite poles which never meet.
So please stop fooling the world. Just today your "tolerant" fanatics have killed yet another scholar.
I won't be surprised, when some extremist wakes up one day and declares Taj Mahal was build on some 100000 old temple and hence it should be destroyed etc.
That shows their real face. This is in general. But for Islam, they harbour even a deeper hate which they cannot often contain...but I am talking about fanatical hindus only.Statistics say otherwise.

For gods sake, please stop pulling out shitty statements out of your pockets left and right without even thinking.
Usually people have the decency to back their opinions with facts, a simple two second google search would save you from looking like an idiot in front of the whole of PDF.
I agree that there are good people and bad people in India, but nobody will buy the India is full of angels bullshit you're trying to sell here.
