PAF was never keen on Su35 or any other Russian A/C due to some reason..so their interest in Su35 never got past mere interest which is a pity but they are more far more focussed in getting the 5th gen A/C with all the goodies.. It is not the question of whether Russia want to sell Su35s to Pakistan, but was more of if PAF wants or not..and unfortunately, the latter (PAF) is not interested.

Actually you will be better served with Su35 than J-31. Su-35 is current and available now, comes with all the weapons, has great range to hit deep in India. J-31 will not be available before 2025.

That is understandable. Still today, F-16 is perhaps one of the greatest fighter plane there. Most battle tested with widest gamut of arsenal. Su-35 is a different kind though. Heavy air superiority with enough legs to attack deep within India. If Unkil is not selling you new F-16, it is not a bad choice for air superiority.
