What's new

We will give terrorists the respect they want: Pervez Khattak - PTI ¬ CM

Come on!! first atleast get in sync with Federal Government and PA, then give such remarks. Why don't they come to APC to define the terrorism policy then speak alike. rather then giving wage statements.

How about giving them a response they deserve Mr. CM?

this is the statement is out of context ..if he gave that statement PTI will sorth him out ..

Khan sb kis ko province ka kaptan bana diya :hitwall:
@mafiya @Leader @Slav Defence Your CM

Very astonishing,heart breaking,I have already predicted that Mr.Khan has to be careful while selecting team for his party,but no one listened,I knew that such 'shah k wafadar'will give 'fruitful results' :hitwall:
Although I have expectations from PTI of less corruption,but in case of policy making for KPK, PTI has disappointed me a lot.
PTI must take actions against Mr.Khattak,I hope that these are personal views of him,not PTI policy.
@Jazzbot @Leader @Aeronaut @balixd @Secur please your opinion and analysis is necessary.

I Have already said .. it was the biggest blunder by IK when he made Khattak the CM of KPK .. this guys is good for nothing . and you have started to see the results in just 60 days .

I am once again going towards the idea of Not voting ... as every single politician seems to come of same class ... Yes even IK .

He could have chosen more appropriate time and words. You should always keep the door of negotiation open when dealing with terrorists.

Why are you people so surprised??? Whats new in this??? Wasn't PTI saying the same during whole election campaign? PTI is still in election campaign mode, they need to shift the gear fast before its too late

“We don’t talk of Talibanisation. We say terrorism exists in the province. It is not known to us who is behind this terrorism. We request all those behind terrorism to work for peace in the province. Whatever respect they want, we are ready to give them. We are ready to reintegrate them into society,” said Khattak, in an exclusive interview with BBC on Saturday.

No wonder Terrorist are wining s.h.i.t for brains are running our country. BY BY Khan sahib any chance you had is disappearing fast .Mr Khattak you dont speak for majority of Pakistanis so dont use the word ''we'' the only thing We are willing to do is kill your pets Terrorist and their sympathizers.

To be fair to PTI the said article was published on May 18th before the Jail incident. But the point remains that if you take a softer stance towards TTP then you should not expect the police to endanger their lives against TTP.

Why dont they invite the TTP to form a govt in KPK? For that matter why not even hand them over the country? Cant/wont fight them, cant/wont even call them a problem, may as well let them rule the country I mean how worse can they be compared to what is out there at present.

CM khattak should invite terrorists in CM house and un ki goudi mai beth kar negotiations karay, so to make them feel honorable and respected

Two months old statement, made right after the elections and the news published on 18th May.

Situation has changed and I pray for Pakistan's sake that CM sahab has understood that there could be no negotiations with these scumbags.

"Respect for Terrorist" Oxymoron :lol: :rofl:

Who said Indian needs to Destroy Pakistan , Pakistani are Enough for that ...... :lol: :lol:

Result of all this Confusion among the PTI gov't is that there is complete lack of will to fight. here is what actually happened.

Poor ability to fight:

D.I. Khan jail attack

2013-08-01 07:14:23
A DAY after the epic debacle that was Monday’s assault on Dera Ismail Khan’s Central Jail, KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said it was “very strange that people came in pickup trucks, motorbikes, broke into the jail and took away 250 prisoners easily”. Strange may be the correct term but it is equally applicable to the failure of his administration whose responsibility it is to ensure that such security breaches are prevented. This was no repeat of the Bannu jail raid last year. In this case, security and administration officials knew that such a hit was imminent. On Monday, hours before the attack, the area’s commissioner held a conference to discuss the matter with law-enforcement agencies and the civil administration. For the provincial administration to say, then, that it was an intelligence failure was both disingenuous and an irresponsible effort to deflect culpability. It was a tactical failure, pure and simple.

Why this tactical failure occurred, though, is extraordinarily disturbing in its implications. After the jail-break information was shared, standard operating procedures were fleshed out and specific response tasks were worked out. Over 100 jail guards and 75 personnel of the Frontier Reserve Force were available, as well as the Elite Police Force and armoured personnel carriers. But when it came to holding the line, the defences melted away. As a disgruntled security official said, metaphorically, the gun was there but there was no one to pull the trigger. Do law-enforcement personnel even have the capability of facing hordes as organised, single-minded and well-armed as the various militant groups clumped under the TTP? True, money has been pumped into the police force, particularly in KP, but most of it has gone towards salaries and increased strength. There has been little consideration of the fact that the numbers of personnel are immaterial if they aren’t trained for a fight that makes very specific demands.

If we are not to reach a situation where militant groups can set their sights on ever higher targets, the law-enforcement apparatus needs an immediate overhaul to meet the escalating challenges posed by what has been the reality for several years now. Pakistan needs to set up modern maximum-security prisons designed to resist assault and prevent escapes; colonial-era internment centres, relics of another age, are simply not enough. The equation is, on paper, simple: the militants are increasingly well-organised, trained and armed; the state law-enforcement apparatus is not. The outcome of the conflict will ultimately be decided on the basis of the disparity between the two sides’ capabilities.

It looks that should Taliban come in trucks and takeover KPK gov't, PTI leadership would agree for the sake pf peace!!!

Mr Pervez Khattak & Imran Khan, please don't expend all your wrath on MQM & the Courts, when it comes to the real enemies of Pakistan you are worse than a ***** cat.
