What's new

We should learn from Turkey and launch an offensive to liberate Kashmir.

You are agree with me?

BTW why the **** are you not countering the rest of it like the timeline of the 48 war?

Because it is clear that you are not capable of having a civilized debate.

Let me know when you are ready to be part of the civilized world and we will start our interaction.

I am sure you are going to reply to this and prove to all of us how ready you are for the civilized world.

Today we've satellites and all the modern gadgetry to find direction at any given point. Pakistan can go to the court to ask to determine 'North' from the point NJ9842. It would be a straight line.

What a great idea! Nothing stops Pakistan from making the claim as you have mentioned. Why the delay?

BTW, it is not just "north", it is "north to the glaciers" from NJ9842, which means Siachen and the Saltoro Ridge forms the natural western boundary. Guess where the current LoC lies along that watershed?

I didn't knew Syria was a nuclear power with 1 million army and aircraft carriers and 4th military power and turkey being 7 times smaller and in it's worst economical turmoil decided to invade it.

Glaciers cover a vast area. Either you take extreme right or extreme left route. Hopefully court will take the shortest route to the north.

Hopefully, Pakistan will move the case first of all, before we can even begin to speculate what the natural watershed line would be for Siachen glacier. Without Pakistan moving its case formally, nothing can happen.

(BTW way, from NJ9842, the shortest way north to the glaciers puts the LoC where it is currently. Looking at a map would be illuminating.)

Yes sir let's hope that Pakistan takes the case to the court.

BTW law takes it's own course notwithstanding conditions of natural landscape as landscape keeps changing with the environment.

Watershed drainage divide is often kept in mind while drawing the IB. LOC and cease fire line are different matter. Using natural dividers is an old method anyway. We have technology to draw a line or a border on any kind of surface whether a mountain range or a plane field.

Looking at the map shows Actual Ground Position Line taking little U-turn. Whereas the word 'henceforth' says that the LOC will go ahead in the same vector.

So the sentence 'henceforth north to glaciers' would literally mean go ahead in the same vector, to the north not leaving the glaciers.

Just curious, is there a legal precedence for such a case and does the ICJ have jurisprudence over such matters?

I mean where would a sovereign state file such a case and what would stop a state from ignoring the deciding bodies decision, something like China did on the South China sea verdict.

Now Pakistan should learn from Turkey and act against parties like ptm
Ptm to Pakistan is what pkk is to Turkey

Pakistan has done nothing in this regard since 1984. The chances of it doing something are now slim to none nearly half a century after the fact.

The LoC was demarcated in 1948 under UN auspices, and any clarification sought by either party would probably fall under its jurisdiction.

The line was demarcated in 1948, please keep in mind.

Past failed Governments have done massive damage to Pakistan on every front.
