Bro, I am serious here, I have good friendships with American Service families, mainly Army and Marines but also Navy and a few Airforce.

The last 20 years have these families very resentful that they have suffered and the spoils going to immigrants and minorities. They are so desperate and disillusioned that I was surprised, remember these are the best American has.

No the number of households in top quintile has grown exponentially. Of course the households that remain near the median look upon the households in the top quintile with envy. Now remember the households on the left bottom quintile are mostly illegal immigrants with undeclared untaxed income.

I take these figures at your word, but the resentment comes from somewhere, one of my Marine friends from a military family from the mid west who have been serving in campaigns since the WW1.

His daughter has been addicted to hard drugs and is just getting clean, and his son can't get a job. He is angry and though not a racist is supporting the Trump and like minded movements, and his experiences are replicated amongst my other military friends.

Having been to China on a number of occasions, the CCP has wide spread support amongst the Chinese people, can you blame them, they took a third world backwater and made it into a global superpower in just 30 years.

No one denies the fact that there were/are corruptions among ranks in CCP, hence the "Anti-Graft Initiative“ , but if you thus conclude that CCP has not changed in 100 years, either you can't handle what China has become or you don't understand why China is so much stronger now.

CCP screwed up at times, and some of their mistakes come with grave consequences. As a party of 90 million members it's bound to have its share of bad guys. A level headed person should never miss the big picture, in both time and scope dimensions.

What matters to majority of Chinese people now is not if CCP is still practicing the purest form of communism, but if CCP can carry China forward. For latter, CCP has done a remarkable job as the ruling political party, second to none in the world. It deserves the respect.

BTW CCP exists not because of Mao, but because of Stalin. Stalin transferred all surrendered Japanese weapons' to China with training in 1945. Stalin offered and gave China tons of technology transfer.

Unfortunately Mao badmouthed and backstabbed Russia at every opportunity. After Mao successfully turned China into the biggest s**thole of the known universe, it was the Americans policies helped China out of its miseries. If it wasn't for American policies against Soviet Union in Afghanistan , China would still be largest s**thole in the know universe.

The Bengal region always had the highest wealth in the world for thousands of years, you are not going to find a single BD poster bring these up.

China's 100 years shame because China was geographically isolated from west world. Science was not introduced to China until beginning of 20th century. And you probably know in the first half of 20th century China was in chaos.

CCP won the civil war not because of Stalin's support. KMT got more weapons from Japanese. Most Japanese armies surrendered to KMT, not CCP.

From 1949 to 1979, China was under US strict sanction. Just like today's Iran.
