Very qualified Cheng. Being an Admin while having a D- is still far charming than having 2 PhDs and getting fired from an Admin role. ;)

Wrong on both counts Sir. ;)

I am sure that these jawans are fed very well to achieve their feats of super human strength. Or may be they are working on the power of their faith alone?

They eat what your taxes can afford, but as it's halal and hard earned, it fulfills their daily intake of calories.

Exactly, it needs to be be a balanced diet. Supplying forward posts in such adverse terrain and weather all year round cannot be easy. Behind these men must also lie a good supply chain that needs credit too.

Seriously, take some Viagra with you, it helps prevent pulmonary edema at high altitudes.

The Tuck ? :lol:

I haven't got any problems with my heart....I'm just very much out-of-shape so far as endurance is concerned; unfortunately Bench Presses, Deadlifts etc. don't build a whole lot of stamina !

@Armstrong l Experiance speaks here, do take notice, comply and don't forget to take number of Chengs preferred viagra dealer.

Time to patent my idea of high altitude brothels.

@Hyperion
Haha...f***!

i dont why, but i think the idea is plagiarized from a neighboring country.

Where were you with such a bright idea when i was up there?

BTW, on a serious note, though viagra might actually work up there, but then how to 'neutralize' the effect it would cause?

Sildenafil only dilates blood vessels, that is all. At high altitudes, the effect that you mention is not an issue, since the vascular system is taxed out in meeting basic demands rather than "optional" ones.

@Hyperion

Some people claim that the "Mile High Club" has its own particular kick, for this reason.

Seems damaging, thanks, but i aint using any viagra when i go up there again.

Seriously, consult your physician. You might find this information useful, if only for emergency use, at very high altitudes:

QUOTE: "This is why Viagra and Revatio, a drug prescribed to combat pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs), are in fact just two names for the same substance.

Even healthy people can start to experience some of the fatigue associated with pulmonary hypertension when they travel to very high elevations, where available oxygen wanes and blood vessels in the lungs constrict. Multiple studies have shown that sildenafil can help to reverse this effect, improving oxygen delivery to muscles and offsetting the usual drop in endurance associated with high altitude.

So a Viagra or two would likely help Everest climbers stay strong during the trek." /QUOTE.
