We could have inflicted heavy damage on Pakistan during aerial raid if we had 'tech asymmetry': IAF

.
He shot down an F16 and your ISPR admitted 2 pilots were captured, ill leave this forum the day Ghafoora admits that the 2 pilots died in custody and they were Indian....

You are terrible with cognitive thinking.

Lets look at the evidences/sources which have debunked Indian claims for your own understanding.

1) Pakistani sources
2) Pentagon correspondents.
3) Independent research organisations in Europe.
4) Physical evidence of 4 missile seekers of downed Mig. Conclusively details that no missile was fired by the aircraft.
5) Physical evidence of blown up AMRAAM concluding that it was a hit.
6) Mi-17 launched for SAR for the downed Su in the vicinity.
7) Sacking of OC 51 sqn, OC Fighter wing Ambala AFB, OC Fighter wing Sirinagar AFB, Base Commander Sirinagar and AOC WAC.
8) If you are old and experienced enough, you'll be able to analyse the behaviour of IAF officers conducting press conferences. Their body language is defensive. Their tone is unsure. They come with prepared scripts and most of the time questions are not addressed to the point. Be honest with yourself and look at them. You wont get anything by winning here on this forum.

Now lets look at debunking of Pakistani claims.

1) Indian Media/IAF
2) ? (Indian members of PDF?)
3) AMRAAM pieces (Thanks for those btw. Reinforce Pakistan's narrative of Su kill)
4) Two still images of radar. I mean you gotta be kidding me to believe this. shit.
5) ?
6) ?

In any case, this doesn't look good for India. More and more evidence suggests they made a poor showing, and I take no solace in that - I'm a huge Flanker fan. But facts are facts, and the SU-30MKI IMO failed to rise to the challenge. Even if one wasn't shot down, it should have been more of a factor. India's own reporting says they were in the mix, and all available evidence suggests they weren't the scary super-fighters that's sometimes attributed to it.

Curious how this will affect the upcoming Indian fighter evaluations. If we do get confirmation a Flanker was shot down, it would be interesting to know the circumstances. I'm sure the IAF is doing a lot of soul searching at this very moment..

What proof do you have a F-16 was shot down?

Remember this. When ever a tragedy occurs. Alot of officers directly and indirectly related to the tragedy are displaced.

The recent crash of our C-130 at Chaklala resulted in postings of 5 officers including OC Flying Chakala, OC TCS, Flight Cmdr 6 etc.

As for the information about IAF postings. We have our own sources.

:omghaha: it isn't their fault, nothing to do with the cowardice and incompetence of "brave-heart" pilots, thieving maintenance men and ground staff. it was the foreign technology that let them down! so what know? use of vedic tech is going to become commonplace?

Indian Air Force claims tech failures hampered success in aerial battles with Pakistan – report

Airstrikes against ‘terrorist’ targets in Pakistan and subsequent aerial battles with Islamabad’s warplanes would have been more successful if India had better technology, a service report cited by local media admits.

The Indian Air Force’s ‘lessons learnt’ assessment primarily covered February’s retaliatory airstrike on a suspected jihadist training camp in Balakot, Pakistan, resulting in a military flare-up with its neighbor. It found that IAF warplanes would have been able to do serious damage to their Pakistani adversaries – if they had access to weapons capable of doing so in the first place.

The wording of the report was somewhat careful about admitting this fact openly, suggesting that they would have been able to compete with their opponents more effectively if they had possessed “technological asymmetry.”

A litany of technical issues was found to have hampered the IAF’s combat prowess. On top of problems integrating new weapons with the available hardware, one of the fighter jet’s missiles apparently failed to deploy from the aircraft altogether due to issues with its navigation system. The same issue had featured in an earlier embarrassing report which suggested that India had likely shot down its own helicopter with a malfunctioning missile while attempting to target encroaching enemy craft.

The latest review also noted that since 1999’s Kargil War, Pakistan “has been consistently enhancing its air defense and offensive capabilities,” demonstrated in the recent clashes by their use of F-16 fighter jets, giving Islamabad an edge. India’s hardware, meanwhile, has become increasingly outdated.

“We felt we could not punish the adversaries appropriately. So we need to bolster technological asymmetry so that the enemy does not even dare to come close to the border,” one source told India’s Economic Times. While things didn’t go exactly as expected, the report reminds readers that “no battle plan ever survives the first contact with the enemy.”

India also maintained that it carried out the assault into Pakistani airspace in order to strike a training facility used by the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), which had carried out an attack in Pulwama, killing 40 Indian troops. However, Pakistan has consistently denied the existence of such camps, and said that the raid had merely destroyed some trees.

India should procure vedic fighter tech along F22 what a lame excuses

Where is the second pilot?
Possibly stuck up Modi's @$$.

Its the only high moment you guys have had since the events of 27th Feb, that you guys get to use ''. With the number of f-ups you guys have made, you (personally) should consider changing your name to 'Pahti'.

One would think that:
- the goofup of Balakot Airstrikes
- loosing a Jet/Pilot
- loosing another jet (due to *ahem* technical glitch)
- shooting down your own Heli
- Debunking the count of F-16's
would of been enough to put you all to shame, but knowing the flag you represent, its not a surprise that you lack self respect.

.
I really hope for IAF own sake that they do not believe the non-sense stated in this piece. If they do, then there is no hope for them.

These are not the faces; that may ever get a chance to fire a shot at F-16 let alone shooting it down...

Faces tells the truth more than the words.

Good observation. From their expressions and demeanour, it appears that they have been forced to face the media. They don't seem to be convinced themselves, what they are presenting.
