Have you ever READ any chronicles about the Fall of Constantinople? 3 ships brought wheat at the early stages of the siege. There was a battle for a few hours and the Christian ships managed to repel the Turkish attacks. They managed to get inside the City.

Apart from that,there wasn't any serious skirmishes at sea. It was a fucking blockade. Do you know what a blockade is?
