It is a question I've been meditating on for some time..Since oe can not go by without noticing that every major economic power had made nukes and sat on them as a deterrent, while concentrating on their economies, The other major economic powers who didn't make nukes were protected by them and their economies flourished under this nuclear umbrella..Pakistan could do the same.. but was there an interference? that is the core of my question..India also apparently flourished its economy in the last 15 years in cooperation with those same world economic powers!
Some might say we do not believe in conspiracy theory, and that is not what I am implying, there are tangible facts proven and experienced throughout the last 15 years or so confirmed with the last US congress show of its real intentions and the hatred they hold in their minds and hearts against Pakistan in particular and Muslims in general..Heck, even the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrein couldn't buy the F-15s or F-18s in the numbers they wanted from the US recently and they had to turn to Europe for EU fighter and Rafale to complete their needs..KSA did not fare better, the deliveries of its F-15s are slowed down and delayed, while it is still negotiating for Naval units for the last 10 years, this combined with what we all know about the last 8 F-16s block52, and F-16s for Pakistan way before that with the US Pressler amendment against the sale.. and now the congress..While at the same time Usrael is getting the F-35 and the US weapon vault is being opened to India..
With all this said, one have to ask also for how long this US strategy was going on? and what is next?

PS: The Iraqi invasion was also fake (proven with the too late confessed lies) What was the real target behind that also..Libya, Syria and Yemen give a clue, but those were like shock waves..the main target was Iraq itself physically and Iran economically by imposing the severest economic sanctions on it..
What all these countries hold in common is Islam, and also they were very powerful nations militarily but mostly economically oil rich countries.. and since Pakistan wasn't that rich in natural resources other means had to be used.. mainly deception by keeping it busy and concentrated on the war in Afghanistan and absorbing more than 3 million refugees -which even the US or the richest countries of this world won't accept or do- instead of concentrating on its economy like they all do under the umbrella of deterrent nukes..

Iraq was targeted because it was the strongest Arab country.
A Strong muslim country is a threat to Usrael.
Libya was targeted because they were planning to issue a gold currency.
Egypt was targeted for obvious reasons, a pro-Islamic ruler is a thorn in Usrael's eye.
It is a commonly believed theory that USA entered Afghanistan to take down Pakistan.
That was the precise reason that Pakistan had to play a dual role, to save both the Afghanistan and Pakistan. We made some bad decisions in that one though and we are still suffering the consequences.

Iran is expected to come more closer to US (the government, cant say for the people).
Iran may replace Turkey.

Thanks, your answer is appreciated, although I think that Pakistan was forced in that situation and it has handled it quite successfully (with CEPEC as a prize), otherwise the US won't have been this mad!
Russia too had an eye for Pakistan when it invade Afghanistan! Do you think that the two camps-The US and Russia_ are plying the Muslims? since they (US /Russia) both are decendants of te same crusaders or if you prefer, both are of the Christian fate!? and stupid enough to belive that the Christian religion origins are Jewish while the latters spit on Jesus face..So the Muslims are up against some dangerous stupid chaps armed with nukes and led by Usrael..

. .
No, the target was always Al-Qaeda. Something big happened here in 2001 that galvanized the nation.

Although one can certainly make an argument that the Taliban were a side goal as well. Keep in mind that Pakistan and America cooperated quite well for a long time and that Pakistan helped in many ways to overthrow the Taliban government. Of course, America has to partly blame itself for the rise of the Taliban from its policies in the 1980s.

No, Russia and US are not playing a game against Muslims united.
But they both are playing with Muslims for their own gains.
And their gains are directed at each other.

Pakistan's mistake was actually fighting its proxies, which ended up in the wrong hands (India). We also made some other moves which were very very wrong and have damaged us a lot.

CPEC is not a prize of our war.
CPEC would have been much more beneficial for us had we not be fighting a war in Afghanistan.

Just imagine how beneficial it would have been if
  1. Gawadar was developed by us, not by Chinese.
  2. Roads and Power plants were developed by us.
The economical gains would have been much larger.

Interesting, never looked at the situation from this angle before

you have to realize who gained the most from their invasion after 9/11
i wud say no one
we lost much but we were able to get our nuclear program out of attention which is again in attention
i believe that US might want to destabilise pro-russian central asia but if they did they wud have probably done by now as central asia have many faultlines
so the target remains Pakistan
but i dont think we were a target but are becoming one now
the ones who gained the most are Northern alliance
as US suddenly shifted their policy against Taliban and at first US was not paying any attention to them
when Northern alliance gained eventually did India as they are our biggest non-state and state enemies respectively

Ok, I agree to some extent, but when both powers have invaded Afghanistan with an eye on Pakistan, there are questions that arise..
For Pakistan fighting its proxies, remember the Buush statement" you are either with us or you are against us", that is why I think Pakistan had no choise to do that and his hands were forced.. remember that Bin Laden and Al Qaeda were supported by the US"apparently" during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan, and then came the 180 degree turn of the US against Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.. And Pakistan was supposed to follow suite even if it is hypocrisy at the highest levels, since those proxies - at least Bin Laden & Co - were extensible for the US policies and their role was not anymore needed or called for.. This is not the case of a Muslim nation assisting its Muslim brothers to liberate their lands, hence came te US challenge "You are either with us or against us" a very childish and egoistic statement but taken very seriously by the US and its allies, it really sounds like coming from a zionist's mind, they are very well known for these turns of words! What about "We are with you if you genuinely fight terrorism, and we have our own interests to protect without being against you", but their statement don't leave any choice, it is stupid and bold, and it is only by hiding behind there nuclear arsenal that they can make such a bold and unfair statement to the rest of the world..So it was literally a between a rock and a hard place For Pakistan..

I did not say that CPEC was a prize of war!, I said it came as a prize to Pakistan after all those years of sufferings Through the war in Afghanistan and internal conflicts stirred from outside by outsiders..It was a God given prize, not really related to anything in particular but a strategic view of China and its cooperation with Pakistan..
Of course it would have been good if Pakistan could do it by itself, or was allowed by its Western "friends" to prosper in the first place..But given the circumstances, CEPEC was the best ting that has happened to Pakistan in the last decade at least..

No, Pakistan could make do without fighting its proxies.
We for example did not fight Afghan Taliban, we have always pretended to fight them.

Anyway, although CPEC is the best thing that happened to Pakistan. But it is not as good as we believe it to be.
I have my own views about CPEC, not that I am against the idea of CPEC or China in general.
But there are certain problems that I see associated with it.
We will face them in the long term, in like next 20 years.

We need much more investment that together make up the same or similar impact that CPEC will make on our economy.
We sure are headed for a take off though.

And still you guys keep asking things from the USA...

Whatever suits us :)

Well, the US had nothing to lose apart from a few thousand solders! Its economy is still the biggest in the world.. Afghanistan had nothing to lose either, apart from few thousand Mujahiddin and government troops! its economy was already in shambles
The only one who has lost in this US led Afghan invasion was Pakistan, because he didn't lose only precious lives, but its own economical growth for the last 15 years or so..
So yes Pakistan was a target if not the primary one behind the Afghan invasion.. to target Pakistan now it is more difficult for the US and allies, but they are playing the Indian card now to target both China and pakistan, but with China involved in this new scheme the danger is much smaller..

the danger is much smaller..
no dear sir
right now China-Pak can not totally relate to
but is comparable to USSR-Serbia of cold war
remember what happened to serbia
just like Pakistan can give a naval base to china in Indian ocean
Serbia was able to give a naval base to USSR in open mediteranean
and a little more penetration into europe

You can't be serious. Clearly you don't have any idea what the atmosphere was like in late 2001 after the attacks. Al-Qaeda (and maybe the Taliban) were the targets. No one knew who Pakistan was nor did they care. In fact, they were largely portrayed as an ally by the media. At least until things started to go south and the US decided to get closer to India because of China towards the end of the decade.

I might also add that NATO and many countries including Canada invaded Afghanistan, not just the U.S. It was not solely an American venture as you are portraying it:
