“In my opinion, the machine is based on the Russian MiG 1.44. That plane was created to compete with the PAK FA at the preliminary design stage, and made its maiden flight in 2000. Well we know that neither the Chinese nor the the Pakistanis trust chinese engines , eg jf 17 engine is from Russia.

No engine is 100% trusted. It is an engineering product. But Chinese engines have been widely used in many Chinese jet fighters.

Your engines! IN rejected Tejas because of Indian engines. With J-20 in China's hand India will never know what flew over their head. Either buy PAK-FA without TOT or suffer. No other option for 5th gen.
