India is making major strides in science and engineering, nobody can dispute this, recently they demonstrated the scramjet technology, only a handful of nations have succeeded in this endeavor not to mention their Mars mission which was executed with a budget smaller than the interstellar movie.Kudos

Yup within reason, I am happy to discuss Walton and other BD companies growth and have a serious genuine talk about how to develop an electronics company (I have had some with @Bilal9 for example) ....but then these people blah blah that its the next Samsung and it just sets up a messed up atmosphere....and then say how dare you participate in showing us how messed up this atmosphere is!

My evidence based approach is something that does not make many fans here...they want everyone to be part of the fantasy world and not show any semblance of some basic realities.

Ignoring/skirting real challenges and issues is bad enough in India and developing world....but its taken to a whole new level by a bunch of these people in this subforum.

There are plenty of japanese, korean and chinese manufacturers within India for its consumer market alongside Indian brands. Competition is good.

It is a vast one compared to an LDC where there is no interest given puny size and depth of its consumer class.

In a couple days, Indians buy more cars than BD people do in a year (that too mostly used garbage) for example.
