What's new

WAGAH

Left to me, I would pry those brain-dead dodos in the Culture Ministry away from their pictures of the JF17 labelled Tejas, and get them to make an ampitheatre on the Indian side, on, say, the left side of the road, and hold a dance performance from different parts of India by turn every evening after sundown, followed by music. Position the ampitheatre so that the Pakistanis can sit on their side and watch.

In approximately three and a half minutes, they will follow suit.

THAT'S when we hit them for six. Build another structure on the right side of the road, and show a theatrical performance - again from different parts of India - daily.

Game, set and match.
:omghaha:

Oh no question about that. I've been trying to play the Goldberg Variations on my extremely choked bandwidth, and am just ready to kill myself. Poor @hinduguy , OTOH, is still trying to decide whether to be Animal, Vegetable or Mineral. He has some tough choices.
Listening to it right now. Apparently my ISP (Pakistan's largest) can't maintain its backup and I'm often left without any internet connection so I've got all of my favourite Bach's pieces downloaded. VCs, Cello suites, partitas and goldberg variations. Will download the Brandenburg concertos soon.

Oh no question about that.
About what, Sir?

I would pay good money to see that haha.

I think a bhangra danceoff between the border guards is required. I have been hearing a lot of smack talking about who is better hehe.

. . . . .
He's referring to Pakistan's tendency (in his opinion) to match every move made by India.

I got the part about copying us. We dance, you dance. We do dramas (on other side of road), then why game set and match? That's the part I did not get.

I was thinking more of a complex where women can buy clothes and jewellry and which has got food court where you can sample ethnic foods of all over india and pakistan...
we can also draw a line (call it LoC) inside the building so that naughty people like @Spring Onion can cross it and take picture with one feet in India and other in pak.
much better experience than sitting in sun with flags and chanting pakistan zindabad/bharat mata ki jai..
