I remember of endless discussions with you recently. it is a common sense: not every viet member represents the majority of vietnamese people. nor chinese.

Yet there's a disproportionate amount of Vietnamese active here that ascribe to historical fabrications.

The narrative in Vietnam still exists that Vietnam always existed and that Chinese are invaders,therefore Vietnamese members are upset that their culture is a carbon copy of Chinese culture with little modifications.

Vietnam girls have their own beauty, which are similar to China's Southwest minority groups.

Well, I respect all minorities in China.

Although Yuan and Qing were the tyrants, but they were still part of China's history, and their reign is over for long time. So no reason for me to hate the Mongols and Manchus anymore.

well, northern chinese tend to be taller and have lighter skin. in contrast, the cantonese speak an ugly language and have darker skin tone, similar to the viets.

Some Cantonese speakers cluster closer to the North Chinese than others.

The Cantonese speakers are also heavily mixed with the North Chinese, they are far from being pure nowadays.

The Manchu girls were indeed fugly in the past, but it is strange that today they have become very hot and very Chinese looking.

IMHO, the most beautiful Chinese are Cantonese. I've dated a Cantonese girl in the past, and they're very homely , kind, caring, yet also stern when needed. Definitely a type that I would consider introducing to my parents, if ever the time arises. Northern Chinese are beautiful, too, facial features are similar to Japanese and Korean.

Not all. Cantonese are actually one of the most beautiful , imho. They have gorgeous almond shaped eyes, and on general, Cantonese are very homely. Definitely the type I could marry...and make beautiful hybrid Japanese-Chinese babies...

If you prefer the petite type, then the Cantonese girls are your choice.

But the North Chinese girls still have their distinct look from the Japanese/Korean girls.
