Wrong dumbo. Guangdong was originally inhabited by Baiyue who spoke Tai languages. Northern Han moved to Guangdong and mixed with the native Baiyue women and brought their language from northern China, and then Cantonese people and language were formed. Same with Fujian, Cantonese and Min languages are closer to classical Chinese than mandarin and it originate from northern China.

The Tang dynasty language spoken in northern China was more similar to, although not identical, to Cantonese and Ming than Mandarin.

We, Vietnam has a long history of wars.

Recent war,Vietnam war ( with US ) is the exceptional war in comparing to other wars in our country.
What's the difference? That showing the trend of fighting for influence among big countries like Russia, China, USA, France ...
