I quite agree with the leaders part, but Military is an autonomous body under the President of India... Military cannot be ravaged by bureaucracy/bureaucrats. Nuclear weapons are mere show pieces or show case weapons, by which you can only stop an incoming war and make the enemy think twice. In the war front do you really think that a country un-noticed of its own boundaries can get a nuclear war head ready and detach it quite successfully even before rest of the world knows?.

A nuclear war is a blind war especially when between two nuclear capable countries. No nation, no being can be helped but watch the worlds end.

This thread again shows the best way to avoid such future conflicts is to let more young indians to travel to China. Once they get the chance to see the difference, they will start to question the regime in delhi and its polices. They will start to question the handling of the relationships.

Most indians, even those considered as well educated, do not understand the huge economic and technology gap between China and india. This issue need to be addressed before indians do something really stupid due to overestimating itself.
