Vietnam - Cambodia Relationship: What is your opinion?

So recently, the tension between Vietnam - Cambodia has reached a new height: around 2000 Cambodian protestors massed up near VN - Cambodia border to protest against the new border. I am surprised that there are no one here make a post about it so I will make one myself. Here is the link:

I want to ask you guys what do you think about this incident? Do you think there are hidden motives behind Cambodian anti-VN extremists?

Please don't bring in childish arguments like "VN bullies Cambodia" or "It is revenge for VN occupation on Cambodia". It's just trolling and not helpful at all. We all know such things are stupid propaganda. Let's be a little more professional here. Thank you.

To all Chinese mems replied here: did you know that those Cambodian protestors also worship Pol Pot and his Khmer Rogue? Did you know that those same people claimed that VN occupied "Phu Quoc" island in 2004?

They just use VN as a convenient excuse to blame all misserable things they encounter, and to some extends to rally people for their political movement. Here is an old link, please read and think a bit before commenting, because all I see left and right are same old Chinese propaganda.

Clearly our Vietnamese and Cambodian friends will find a bilateral solution to this issue, the same way as how Thailand and Cambodia found resolution to the Preah Vihear Dispute. Let the two nations solve this dispute peacefully without foreign intervention.

Of course they will not intervene. Vietnam now is part of ASEAN, unlike how it was so back in 1979 when Vietnam was alone in Southeast Asia. Vietnam is too integrated with ASEAN for China to risk diplomatic fallout with the rest of the civilized world, let alone, fall into the trap of American Geopolitical Ambitions.

This is why China will remain restrained. Besides, the Vietnamese Army stationed in the northern border with China is over 300,000 strong. That alone is enough to restrain the Chinese.
