Video of Pakistan army attacking Talibans.

Pakistani and Western armies operate very differently. There is a reason why we are winning the war against terror and they are not. Footage like this gives crucial information to enemies.

They were pretty safe. The compound was surrounded by snipers and gunners, the terrorists were trapped in a room and if they stepped into the visual zone for even a second; they would've been killed.

You could tell that a green light was given for them to enter the area after it was secured. Only a couple intial soldiers were sent to eliminate the targets supported by helis, the rest came after the area was secured and the terrorists were trapped in the rooms.

How exactly do you know that?

The people on the ground do not have eyes that can look through walls. It was perfectly normal for the Helis to inspect the compound, they moved in a specific formation so that if anyone decides to come out and attack with rocket launchers; the gunner could have easily taken them down.

Sir, I am talking about the swarm after firing has taken out the terrorists. For nefarious elements, this shows the need for keeping reserves at a distance with mortars/rockets. Such weapons could even be remotely activated. But moving on from terrorists, think what information Indians can glean from it? The threat doesn't end when the visible/known enemy has been neutralized. The threat only ends when the territory and adjacent areas have been thoroughly checked and cleared.

The proper use of helis would be reconnaissance of surrounding areas using IR imagery to ascertain the presence of reserves. IR imagery can enable the troops to look through walls. Positions should not be left after the shooting ends. The area should be systematically cleared. And dead bodies should be approached with caution, because they could have remote controlled bombs.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the firing seems to come from outside. I am assuming that smoke around the walls is bullets hitting the walls. And the dead bodies outside also seem to suggest an ambush, some of which are lying 10s of meteres away from the main compound. Meaning, even after the cordon, there was an ambush from outside. If they had played their cards well, then after the first exchange, our soldiers would have come under heavy mortar fire while they were bunched together.

Finally, the commander with full authority to give orders should be present on the battlefield, directing both ground troops and helis. It is inefficient to have to communicate with a remote person, even if he is watching from the heli at a distance.

They are all young ... these are the best sons of the soils who are making the ultimate sacrifice. It is a sad state of affairs when I hear the appeasers belittle their sacrifices with their own left-right agenda.

Pakistan First!
They should drown in shame who play politics over a martyr.

Your mum's tits. Don't play politics on the blood of a martyr. Go fck yourself you miserable son of a biatch

The politicians they do pooja and build temples for made a fortune from corruption involved with the coffins of dead Hanumen. Don't expect these creatures to have respect for our soldiers when their elected leaders don't have any for their own.

Five suspected terrorists were reportedly killed in an intelligence-based operation conducted by Pakistan Army in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Swabi district on Tuesday.

"[The] five terrorists who were killed [...] were planning to target educational institutions and judicial complexes," Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

The military's media wing said three of the terrorists had been identified, while the remaining two were "probably Afghans". At least one of the identified militants was a member of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, according to ISPR.

Two soldiers of the Army also lost their lives in the operation.

"Sacrifice of our shaheeds will not go [to] waste. Terrorist will be brought [to] their end and held accountable for their fasaad," Chief of Army Staff Qamar Jawed Bajwa said in response to the operation.

The two soldiers were among an Army party conducting an intelligence-based operation in Swabi district's Malikabad area, according to ISPR.

A day earlier, five soldiers of Pakistan Army had been slain in a "terrorist attack" on three Pakistani border posts along the Pak-Afghan border area in Mohmand Agency. Over 15 suspected militants were also reportedly killed during the attack.

The Army had launched Operation Raddul Fasaad last month following a spate of terror attacks in the country, which claimed more than a hundred lives and left hundreds others injured.

The operation seeks to eliminate the "residual/latent threat of terrorism", consolidating the gains made in other military operations, and further ensuring the security of Pakistan's borders.

Hundreds of suspected terrorists have reportedly either been killed or arrested in raids carried out by security personnel since the start of the operation.

The way SSG assault team put their lives at stake for compound clearing Ops. What is the point of creating POF corner shot if they want to do things old fashion way ?
