Is the Direct IP feature available in FIFA 12? Heard EA removed the feature from FIFA 11. Also, I can create my own server, can I not?

Direct ip has been pretty much dead. but u can host or join other players tht are in the fifa 11 tunggle room.
The games usually auto search for available matches on a network nowadays.

1.start tunggle
2.choose a room and stay in it
3.go to control pannel> internet and network
4.look for ur connector (local area connection)
5.right click and 'disable'
6.start fifa 11>online modes>lan play>type ur name and minimize it(fifa)
7.go to ur connector again>right click enable
8.wait for tunngle to connect (if got a regular modem it will connect but it won't show u the of players names in the game room, if it happens just quit tunngle and start it again
*.it will work only if ur opponent did the same
*.u will have to do this EVERY time u wont to play fifa 11 via tunngle!!

This i got frm a tunggle forum.

Install Fifa 11
Join the Fifa 11 network
Press the Windows Startbutton, choose "Control Panel" and go to "Internet and Network"
Now choose "Network and Sharing Center" and at sidebar press "Change Adapter settings"
Now disable your Network adapter (Not the Tunngle adapter!)
Start Fifa 11 and go to: Online modes > LAN Play > Type in your Nickname
Minimize Fifa 11, go back to "Control Panel" and start your Network adapter
Wait for Tunngle reconnect
If you don´t see any users after the reconnect > Restart Tunngle
Maximize Fifa 11 and join any Match
Have Fun

Can anyone give me a detailed list on what i need for my pc in order to smoothly run a game like BF3.

Right now i have a windows 7 with Nvidia graphics card that came with the computer, that's all i know for now lol. I'm not an expert in this field.
