She should have thought of that before she acted like she did, like a cheap wh*re. She is free to do whatever she wants, no one will take action against her, but expecting support for her acting like a cheap wh*re is expecting too much. Disowning is more noble than domestic crime like honor killing, or anything else.

And her father says that he is waiting for her to clear her name before his revokes him disowning her, meaning he is leaving that door open (revoking him disowning her). Knowing the kind of societies India & Pakistan have, if the vice versa had happened (an Indian posing in Pakistan), you would have seen effigies being burned & violence on the streets, like what happened in the Shilpa Shetty 'kissing controversy'. The reaction in Pakistan has been very calm if you put things in perspective.

It is weird you know, considering that Veena has called to sue the magazine that posted this pic on. The contrast of her face and the rest of her is so different.

Anyways, I fail to understand just how on earth a parent 'disowns' a child. Parents don't 'own' children. This is a fundamental flaw in some Muslim societies. Family must always there no matter what.

The funny thing is that only the Indian news outlets are reporting this, & I can't find Pakistani news outlets bothered enough to report this.

Yeah right, Indian streets went up in flames and emergency had to be declared bcs Shilpa Shetty kissed Richard Gere..while in Pakistan there was complete silence and the people demonstrated the Ghandian way during the Danish cartoon crises.
