1 year since induction, 5 Tejas have been inducted.
2nd production line was recently opened.
SP 6 flew not a few weeks backs, and will be accepted by Flying Daggers after the necessary tests are completed in the coming weeks.
1331 crores are being invested to bring the production of Tejas upto 16 a year.

And in reality.. so called SU-30s and mig-29s are marred by non availability and even crashes.

While low tier migs keep claiming pilots lives earning the magnificent title of “flying coffins”...

But do keep crying, it won't stop the induction process.

Jf 17 crashed one or two times but Hal tejas record is better. So don't worry...

JF17 has been flying in more numbers, for longer period of time and way more frequently than Tejas. You can compare the crash rates when Tejas has had as long as JF17 in service.

Looks like USAF is interested in Tejas to bloster US air power.

It's just a way for us to show them that the technologies they denied us is built by in house now and working superbly. A proud moment for team Tejas. Of course you have nothing on the JF17 that can bring such moments for you..sorry but I do understand the terrible heart burn.
