Japan warn the world about the plan, US warn China about the same.
Does it make sense ?

I guess a secret mechanic starts operating to prevent more dangerous action of China.
The more China moves forth, the more enemies against China.

Until you are ready to rule the whole world, you should act carefully

When a nation is on the rise, you will alway get attention, it makes perfect sense that Japan and U.S warn the world about China, I would be surprise if they don't.

Your government can't do a damn thing, the entire Paracels is controlled by China, and China, Malaysia, Taiwan all occupy "your territory" in the Spratlys according to your government, and China can move your border at will and your government threw a temper tantrum before it was forced to give in.
