US trying to sell the F-35 to India

If it was me to decide, i will cancel MRCA (around 200 approx) and PAK FA (around approx) and buy straight 400 piece of F35 and ask US to give few B-2 bombers and Raptor (50 piece each) and rest buy MKI. I think Indian pilot have good flying experience on this bird.

But this will be perfect world

And that is why India is an economic miracle with 20 times the English-speaking population of China that has the fastest growing middle class on earth and lifts millions out of poverty every year and Pakistan, well, doesn't.

The F-35 is a pretty bad aircraft in terms of performance to cost ratio. However, it would be cool to get a few and then let Russia take a look at the internals and do adversary training against them.

once f-35 gets into production it cost will drop to same level as f-35...
the lockheed says that f-35 will cost 70 million without engines to US airforce. i am pretty sure india can get it around 120 million..nearly same cost as eurotyphoon...
it is technological so good that it would a give an edge to IAF against china for the first time...

the lockheed says that f-35 will cost 70 million without engines to US airforce. i am pretty sure india can get it around 120 million..nearly same cost as eurotyphoon...

so acc. to you contries like United Kingdom,Italy ,The Netherlands ,Canada, Turkey , Australia, Norway and
Denmark will get edge over china in next few years...........

As far as i know India signed agreement for FGFA not PAK-FA.
Both China and Russia are SCO and strategic military partners they don't need to counter each other.
