I think that the Iranians have more issues to worry about than Israel. Their leadership and geopolitical status is kinda unrealistic to say the least.

There are about two million Arab-Israelis in Israel if I am not mistaken. Add that to more than three million Palestinians in Palestinian territories. Something will come up, I am quite certain. There was no nuclear war in apartheid South Africa - and look how it is doing today. There wasn't war in the civil rights movement in the US. The examples are many.

Nationalism doesn't always yield good results - doesn't matter if Israeli or Palestinian. They can both equally harmful. In fact - ignorant and potentially destructive.

I am not denying the fact that there are issues in the Holy Land, and certainly I do not agree with all the views of right wing Israelis in general. There are people who are critical with the state of matters over there.

The key issue is over land ownership, not just religion. Who owns the land in Palestinian territories is a matter of life and death, even for Palestinians themselves.

Even if the Palestinians weren't Muslims, the result we see today would still be the same under the past and present circumstances. Albeit, perhaps having different cultural incarnations.

Islamist word is the creation of west in the first place and and the meanings given has been used in different context. Do jews like western ideologies do christian churches like jewish religious ideologies certainly not. If you would have read a little bit about the good deeds of Bashir then you would have understood how pressing the need to divide Sudan existed. I know that it could be possible for people to coalscse for a homogenity in their religion but then sometimes better to look at the broader humanatirian issue. There has been enough slaughter in that part of the world and it was about time that people who decided that they could not live with each other separated.

Re the other disturbances in the muslim countries including Libya, it is generally and fondlly being called as the Arab Spring. The resistance is from people who have been tremendously opressed over the years and they just want these despots and dictators or kings etc. to go. Whether it be Libya, or Egypt or Syria or Bahrain or Tunisia or Yemen, NATO did not start the resistance. It is people's resistance. International community's only role is to ensure that there are no mass killings or / and genocides that basically go against basic human existential decency. It is just an unfortunate coincidence that all these countries where there are rebellions and disturbances and blatant killing of its own poor citizens actually happen to be muslim oriented nations. But the underlying fact is that it is a indigenous rebellion in each and every case. NATO cannot make the locals take a bullet for their cause. I am sure that you will agree there.
