According to Aviation Week, it does not have a pressurized cabin.
I am sure pilots on PDF can comment on the viability of flying at 10,000 m without a pressurized cabin.
Normal loaded altitude 5000 m, and without arnament 7000 m, so on top of the separating distance
the missile must climb 3-5000 m.
The warhead (again according to Aviation Week) is 3kg, which they deem is unlikely to bring down a 777.
yeah, most likely a buk.. the su 25 theory is kinda weak, but those comments I quoted are from a Russian air force general so I'm willing to believe that it can fly that high for short periods of time.
but even so... who fired the buk ? that's not so clear at all
