US spy drone 'tricked' into Iran landing by GPS spoofing

Unable to argue on substance, the Pakistanis and the Iranians resorting to personal attacks. No surprise there.

What kind of arguments do you expect when what you're saying is totally nonsense to start with? How do you know that the USA has tens of thousands of images taken from Iranian airspace? Your claims are baseless and absurd, but you insist on them, how do you expect others to take you seriously and argue with you when you don't even bother to back up your claims?

By the way, since when mentioning someone's origin has become a personal attack? That's a personal matter though, if you consider it a personal attack, OK, up to you, but all I'm wondering is how referring to someone's country of origin is a type of personal attack.

lOl!!! there are just 4 rq 170 sentiel in the USA and under controll of CIA , so we had just hacked 25% of your drones. lol
the other drones are for bombing and USA don't want to start a war with iran

Try and think about this:

The US have been flying drones out of Iraq and Afghanistan long before this supposedly 'hacking' of ONE drone. Are you really that naive to believe that not one of them crossed into Iranian airspace?

So how does my origin applicable to UAVs?

I hope the Iranian military leadership thinks like you do. It will make defeating the Iranian military that much more enjoyable.

May be achievement for you but you just gave them reason to make more tougher and secure systems.

Well actions speak louder than barking like your leaders

Oh just in time American proxy comes to defend American injustice in the hopes of getting assistance in the form of crumbs

Well, NO, it's "possible" that some of them have crossed into Iranian air space, but to claim that they have taken tens of thousands of images is baseless, you can't claim things based on possibilities and expect everyone else to believe them and if they cast doubt on your claims you come up and say you're naive and start name calling them. Moreover, It's not only about one drone, even before that, several news had been published by Iranian and Western newspapers that Iran had claimed it had shut down US drones in Persian Gulf and border areas.
Your style of commenting leaves no space for other members to argue with you. You talk about possibilities and you claim things, which could be acceptable though, I don't say that every thing must be provable, because that way the topics that the members of this forum could talk about would get too narrowed, but you can't insist on your claims. This sentinel thing has been confirmed by the White house as well, but if you claim that you've taken tens of thousands of images over Iranian airspace you shouldn't expect other members to take that for granted.

This kind of GPS error is nothing new and sometimes it happens without external interference. These yay-hoos just simply do not understand how GPS works so might as well attribute the most fantastic story to Iran, that of 'hacking'.

Yup...We never violated Soviet airspace with the U-2 and SR-71 at all. No pictures were taken. Absolutely not.

just like Pakistani cheerleaders! No US and India are potential and natural allies. And for crumbs part everyone knows your country is all dependent on khairat(AID).

No matter it was still well done to Iranians. Why are you Vietnamese and Americans trying so hard to take credit away from Iran??

GREAT JOB IRAN! YOU ARE NOW A SUPER DUPER POWA BY TRICKING ONE OF OUR DRONES..

You must be soo proud

Everyone knows America does not get its way with Pakistan that's why IP pipeline is not going to India. Oh and since when did fodder to be used against China by America qualify as allies?i

Why can you not handle it they got your drone. What have your leaders managed to do other than bark for 34 years????

Without chinese help (equipments) it mustn't been possible.

They are. In a way, they are terribly naive about it. They did not stopped and think that IF it was truly from Iranian efforts, wiser heads inside the Iranian military would have argue for silence. Let the Americans think that it was an internal failure.

There was also a recent revelation that a computer virus had infected the digital cockpits of Predator and Reaper drones at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada! This raises the question whether America's pre-eminent tool in the war on terror could become a victim of cyber-espionage.

The fact of the matter is that the more we rely on computers and robots to wage our wars, the more vulnerable we become to viruses, worms and trojans.

I think it's high time Pakistan gets moving on this front, seeing the unabated drone strikes that have killed dozens of innocent men, women and children.
