The best example is the "martyr" concept.

When a soldier dies, he is a "martyr". He achieved a holy thing, sleeping with our prophet in the heaven, etc....

Nobody ask questions like;
- If he got a adequate training.
- If he got adequate equipment.
- If there had been a mistake in the decision making.
- If it was the fault of higher-ups.

He is a "martyr"....case closed.

I agree. As i said before it helps those in authority quite a lot. A good example of yhis was when I visited Cameroon(a central African country with my partner, that was in 2016. There was a terrible train crash that period, i was expecting the people to be naturally woke up or angry with their government for the terrible state their railways have been running all these decades(no proper maintenance, overloading, old rolling stocks and old rail tracks dating back to the colonial period when Western powers built this railways) However, to my surprise most people were saying exactly the same thing you said, I.e :'It was GOD'S WILL, What GOD has chosen man can't undo, GOD knows best, GOD gives life GOD takes life etc etc etc.' lol I heard all sort of religious excuses and sometimes even witchcraft excuses (some said it was a sacrifice for some ancestors or people from sects/shadow society groups, etc etc). It was so hilarious I thought it was a comedy show. . But they were really serious and believed in what they said. Lol
NoNwonder those in authorities there are under no real pressure to perform better unlike says here in Europe /Britain.
It's kind of sad to be honest. I felt bad for them.
