What U.S. will do if China continue to buy oil from Iran??? China indeed has $$ and she can pay Iran government through her own banks without using European or U.S. banks.

As long as China and Russia buy oils from Iran, what will that sanction do exactly???

The idea is the US gets enough support worldwide that if China keeps trading with Iran, China itself will get sanctioned by all other countries. Now obviously this is difficult to pull off, but US is trying, and hoping Chinese government will be intimidated enough (and worried about their own pocketbook, notwithstanding national interests) to make it work.

In Europe: You have Germany, Italy, U.K, France, Australia, Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Finland... and etc.

I simply list some countries here. The real list is definitely longer. If you put the military as well economic power by those countries together, they should be among the majority of the current world.

What would sanctioning Iran on OIl exports do? Nothing. It will only make countries wary of US for no reason. Shooting up the oil prices maybe good for billionaires owning oil wells but common people will feel the heat.

You people have oil from Canada and Venezuela safely while we need oil from our neighboring countries like Iran. How the hell do you think we are going to run our economies? This is where the problems come you see. Sanctions are just like economics. There comes a point when law of diminishing returns comes into play.

No one is against USA but this was only going to make countries more wary of US when oil starts pinching them.

As for the reserved 2 seats, I do not think there is any limitation for Muslim members in U.S. or Europe. There are more Muslim members in parliaments in European countries. Throughout U.S., there are more Muslim officials in different levels of governments as well.

There are backslashes against Muslim after 9/11 unfortunately. However, anyone who commits crimes against Muslim will be prosecuted according to the law.

Ahmedinejad is rumored to have Jewish ancestors. There has never been a Jewish president of a Western country in the 20th century. There has been one Jewish prime minister of Britain in history.
